God's path -As to WHAT THE BIBLE
does say.
(Prov 23:26 KJV)
My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my
ways.
(Isa 55:8 KJV) For
my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith
the LORD.
(Isa 55:9 KJV) For
as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than
your ways, and my thoughts than your
thoughts.
(Prov 8:32
KJV) Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are
they that keep my ways.
(1 Ki 3:14
KJV) And if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my
commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy
days.
(Job 31:4
KJV) Doth not he see my ways, and count all my steps?
(Psa 39:1
KJV) I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my
tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before
me.
(Psa 81:13
KJV) Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had
walked in my ways!
(Psa 95:10
KJV) Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and
said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known
my ways:
(Psa 119:5
KJV) O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
(Psa 119:26
KJV) I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy
statutes.
(Psa 119:59
KJV) I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy
testimonies.
(Psa 119:168
KJV) I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways
are before thee.
(Psa 139:3
KJV) Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted
with all my ways.
(Isa 58:2
KJV) Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a
nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their
God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in
approaching to God.
(Ezek 18:29
KJV) Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not
equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways
unequal?
(Zec 3:7 KJV)
Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou
wilt keep my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also
keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that
stand by.
(Mal 2:9 KJV)
Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the
people, according as ye have not kept my ways, but have been partial in
the law.
(1 Cor 4:17
KJV) For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my
beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into
remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in
every church.
(Heb 3:10
KJV) Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They
do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
(Prov 14:12
KJV) There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end
thereof are the ways of death.
"...in latter times some will depart from the faith,
giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons...." 1 Timothy
4:1
"...because lawlessness will abound, the love of
many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved."
Matthew 24:12-13
(2
Tim 3:1 KJV) This know also, that in the last days perilous times
shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves,
covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents,
unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers,
false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than
lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power
thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which
creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led
away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to
the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres
withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt
minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 9 But they shall proceed no
further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also
was.
(2
Pet 3:3 KJV) Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last
days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
(Rev 12:12 KJV) Woe to the inhabiters of the earth
and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath,
because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
All of Mankind is still self centered or men
centered and Not God centered. They do not read, know the Bible, are
also really ignorant of what it really says too.
(Psa 34:18
KJV) The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and
saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
(Psa 51:17
KJV) The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a
contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
(Isa 57:15
KJV) For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth
eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with
him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit
of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
(Isa 66:2
KJV) For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those
things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to
him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my
word.
Pride and ambition are still deadly sins for all
persons, christians included.'
(Eccl 7:8
KJV) Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and
the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.
(Luke 1:51
KJV) He hath showed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the
proud in the imagination of their hearts.
Truth: "...with God nothing will be
impossible.” Luke 1:35-38
"But our God is in
heaven; He does whatever He pleases." Psalm 115:3
Jesus looked at them
and said to them, 'With men this is impossible, but 'with God all things
are possible.” Matthew 19:26
"Whatever the Lord
pleases He does, in heaven and in earth....
He
causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth;
He makes lightning for the rain; He brings the wind
out of His treasuries.
He destroyed the firstborn
of Egypt, both of man and beast....
He defeated
many nations and slew mighty kings....
Your name,
O Lord, endures forever,
Your fame, O Lord,
throughout all generations.
For the Lord will
judge His people, and He will have compassion on His servants.
The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the
work of men’s hands." Psalm 135:6-15
"He answered and said
to them, 'I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would
immediately cry out.” Luke 19:40
"You give shameful counsel to your house,
Cutting off many peoples, and sin against your
soul.
For the stone will cry out from the wall,
And the beam from the timbers will answer it."
Habakkuk 2:10
But when he saw many of
the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them,
'Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not think to say to
yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God
is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. And even now
the ax is laid to the root of the trees." Matthew 3:7-10
God's training is the opposite of the world's
leadership training. It clashes with today's formula for successful
leadership on every point:
And He [God] said, “Go,
and tell this people:
‘Keep on hearing, but do
not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’
'Make the heart of this people dull, and their ears
heavy, and shut their eyes;
Lest they see
with their eyes, and hear with their ears....
Then I [Isaiah] said, “Lord, how long?”
And He answered: 'Until the cities are laid
waste and without inhabitant,
The houses are
without a man, the land is utterly desolate..." Isaiah 6:9-11
But
the people preferred false prophets with more positive messages
"Do not listen to the
words of the prophets who prophesy to you...
They
speak a vision of their own heart,
Not from the
mouth of the Lord.
They continually say to those
who despise Me,
‘The Lord has said, 'You shall
have peace’;
And to everyone who walks according
to the dictates of his own heart, they say,
‘No
evil shall come upon you.’ ” Jeremiah 23:16-17
"'Woe to the foolish
prophets, who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing! ... They
have envisioned futility and false divination, saying, ‘Thus says the
Lord!’ But the Lord has not sent them; yet they hope that the word may
be confirmed. ...
"Therefore thus says the Lord God: 'Because you have spoken nonsense and
envisioned lies, therefore I am indeed against you,' says the Lord God.
'My hand will be against the prophets who envision futility and who
divine lies... Because they have seduced My people, saying,
‘Peace!’ when there is no peace...." Ezekiel 13:3-10
God looks for faith and obedience, not great
leaders
"And not being weak in faith, he did not
consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years
old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise
of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to
God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also
able to perform. And therefore 'it was accounted to him for
righteousness.'” Romans 4:19-22
"Jesus said to them,
'...if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain,
‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be
impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer
and fasting.” Matthew 17:20-21
The Secret of
Success
Romans 12:1-3, 9
Verse 1. Surrender your life into God's
hands: "...present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy,
acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service."
Verse 2. Fill your mind with God's truth, not
the world's philosophies. "Do not be conformed to this world, but
be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is
that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Verse 3. Build Christ-esteem, not self-esteem.
"Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think
of yourself with sober judgment...."
Verse 9. Learn to see reality from God's
perspective. "Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good."
God's Way versus our
ways
"You meet him who rejoices and does righteousness,
who remembers You in Your ways." Isaiah 64:5
"Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, who walks
in His ways." Psalm 128:1
"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and
broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in
by it. ??Because narrow is the gate and ??difficult is the way which
leads to life, and there are few who find it." Matthew
7:13-14
"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole
world, and loses his own soul? ?Or what will a man give in exchange for
his soul? ??For whoever ?is ashamed of Me and My words in this
adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be
ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father....?" Mark
8:36-38
