First I rightfully still do not endorse any Christians adds, anyone, any person, any organization, any Church  now trying to make any money from  the gospel, or begging, asking for money or even  any of the adds here.  I also do not endorse any of  Bibles, books, tapes listed here for sale too. Jesus said as we have freely received so we are freely to give. Hirelings in their greed and visible lack of faith don't do that. I do believe we should have the faith for God to supply what anyone needs  freely to anyone who needs it.

How to personally know the will of God now.

My specific writings recently were on this topic on how to understand the Holy Spirit's leading .. and there is only one way to do this.. it is to daily read and to mediate on God's words directly and to daily pray... when I am not in the Word - the Bible myself I am in doubt, confusion, the desolate wilderness... I will also pray for you to know God's peace and leading.. His will and His tasks  to be revealed to you.

How to personally know the will of God for you because..

(Psa 37:23 KJV)  The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

  • You know there is something better for you here on earth but do not know where to start
  • You are sick and tired of being often depressed and lonely, lost, empty, void.. realy  sick and tired of it.
  • You do often feel as though no one loves or needs you at all
  • You know you are a sinner and want a way out of your current lifestyle for you know it is not good for you
  • You are lost and cannot find your way out of the trouble you are in, You really cannot see a way out
  • You are not sure if you are ready to give yourself to God and want a small sample of what it would be like
  • You also do not feel comfortable reading the Bible because of your sins but know you should
  • You are curious as to whether God's plan can really work for you
  • You still always have a difficult time identifying God or God's plan for your life
  •
and there is really only one sure way and that is to daily, prayerfully, humbly meditate on the word of God firstly.

(Psa 34:18 KJV)  The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

(Psa 51:17 KJV)  The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

(Isa 57:15 KJV)  For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

(Isa 66:2 KJV)  For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

(Psa 1:1 KJV)  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

and you will still never know what God's plan is for your life if:

    • You continue to make decisions without him
    • You continue to take control of your life

For  "It is not 'your will' but 'His will that is to be done'"  for  God loves you and offers a wonderful plan for your life.

(Isa 40:31 KJV)  But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

(Isa 30:18 KJV)  And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him

God loves you and created you. Not only that, he loves you so much that he wants you to spend eternity with him. Jesus said, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

Jesus came so that each of us could now know and understand God in a personal way. Jesus alone can bring the true meaning and purpose to life. Jesus Christ is God's only provision for our sin. Through him we can know and experience God's love and plan for our life. We must individually accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our life.

Jesus Christ is also God's sole solution to the problem of human imperfection and evil. Because of Jesus' death on the cross, our sin doesn't have to separate us from God any longer. In his suffering and death on the cross, Jesus paid the price for our sin and in so doing, bridged the gap between us and God. "For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that he might bring us to God" (1Peter 3:18).

(Romans 9:22-27) What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23 in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory- 24 even us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles? 25 As indeed he says in Hosea, "Those who were not my people I will call 'my people,' and her who was not beloved I will call 'beloved.'" 26 "And in the very place where it was said to them, 'You are not my people,' there they will be called 'sons of the living God.'"

"What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined . . . God has prepared for those who love him" (1 Corinthians 2:9). He said these riches are immeasurable: "In the coming ages he [will] show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus" (Ephesians 2:7).

    Now

(Hab 2:4 KJV)  Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

(Rom 1:17 KJV)  For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

(Rom 10:17 KJV)  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

"HOW TO ASCERTAIN THE WILL OF GOD
    • 1. I seek at the beginning to get my heart into such a state that it has no will of its own in regard to a given matter. Nine-tenths of the trouble with people generally is just here. Nine-tenths of the difficulties are overcome when our hearts are ready to do the LORD's will, whatever it may be. When one is truly in this state, it is usually but a little way to the knowledge of what His will is.
    • 2. Having done this, I do not leave the result to feeling or simple impression. If so, I make myself liable to great delusions.
    • 3. I seek the Will of the Spirit of God through, or in connection with, the Word of God. The Spirit and the Word must be combined. If I look to the Spirit alone without the Word, I lay myself open to great delusions also. If the Holy Ghost guides us at all, He will do it according to the Scriptures and never contrary to them."

Philippines 1:2-21 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

(Rom 12:1 KJV)  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.2   And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

    ON Prayer.

Jesus said we need to learn how to pray.

    How to pray
True prayer should come from the heart. Do pray simply and from within, not with  cliché words or meaningless gestures.  " Go into the inner room, " Jesus says, " and there pray honestly, openly  to your Father, "who hears you."
(Mat 6:6 KJV)  But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

(Mat 6:7 KJV)  But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8  Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Prayer too is fed by faith. Jesus prayed with an unwavering faith in his heavenly Father, a faith that lasted till his death. He taught us to pray also with childlike faith in God, believing that our prayers are heard by One who loves us. Thank God also beforehand for hearing your prayers by faith.
(Mat 6:9 KJV)  After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10  Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.  11  Give us this day our daily bread. 12  And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.  13  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 14  For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: 15  But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

    (Eph 5:20 KJV)  Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
    Pray with fastings too.
(Mark 2:20 KJV)  But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.

(Mat 6:16 KJV)  Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 17  But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; 18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

(Heb 5:7 KJV)  Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared

Prayer should be steady and persevering as his prayer was, even when no answer comes or when no relief is in sight. "Watch and Pray," he says, "Seek and knock," till the door that reveals God's holy will be opened. Pray till you get an answer, yes or no or till God says to "stop praying".

(Mat 26:41 KJV)  Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

(Mark 13:33 KJV)  Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.

(Luke 11:9 KJV)  And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.  10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13  If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Pray one for another. Jesus prays for us; he still is our intercessor before God. As Savior he gathers our prayers, our needs, the cries of our hearts to make them his own and he offers them to God who hears our prayers, hears the prayer of his Son.

(James 5:16 KJV)  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

    (1 Tim 2:1 KJV)  I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

(1 Tim 5:5 KJV)  Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.
Pray in Jesus name.  Pray   "Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen."
(John 14:13 KJV)  And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

(John 14:14 KJV)  If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

(Col 3:17 KJV)  And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

(John 3:18 KJV)  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

(Luke 13:35 KJV)  Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
    Pray daily, continually
(Psa 56:2 KJV)  Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High.

(Psa 61:8 KJV)  So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.

(Psa 68:19 KJV)  Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

(Psa 86:3 KJV)  Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily.

(Psa 88:9 KJV)  Mine eye mourneth by reason of affliction: LORD, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands unto thee.

(Mark 14:49 KJV)  I was daily with you in the temple teaching,

(Luke 9:23 KJV)  And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

(Acts 2:46 KJV)  And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

(Acts 17:11 KJV)  These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

(Heb 3:13 KJV)  But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

The person who does not pray really cannot personaly expect to reap next any postive results as a result

    ----- Original Message -----

You've been such a blessing!  It's a privilege to be on your mailing list for all these years.

You know, this devotional was God-sent... I didn't read it until earlier this week, and the verse that leapt out at me was: "Sit still, my daughter."  For the past month I've been unfocused and worried about my Honours thesis and my future, because I have to find a job for next year.  Especially being unfocused... not getting good work done, procrastinating when I should be doing study and writing for my thesis.  So when I read that verse, it was as if God was saying it personally to me.  And the rest of the devotional also was so appropriate for my current situation.  Be still and know that He is God.

The Holy Spirit revealed more to me on Sunday when I was praying, but the primary message was not to worry about the future, because God knows and holds it in his hands.  All I need to do is to follow Him.  And I can focus and get work done, when I put Christ first and fellowship with Him daily.  The Holy Spirit will help me to achieve my goals and overcome my human weaknesses.  But I have to be still first instead of rushing around trying to do my own work, or even praying without taking time to still my thoughts and listen to the Holy Spirit's voice... He is God in heaven, and I am here on earth, so my words should be few.

This is what I wrote in my journal  after praying:
The LORD says to me: Be still. Be still, and know that I am God. Even I know where the sparrow falls, and the number of hairs on your head, how precious are you to me. Do not be afraid of the future, of next year: I hold your life in my hands, I know its beginning and its end. Do not be afraid: be still.

I love you, Jesus. There is none like you. I desire no one else. There is nothing here for me in this world, there is nothing. I cling to you, Jesus. I will follow you, no matter where, no matter where. And I will be still, and know that you are God.

    Thank you so much!

    Love in Christ,
