  A good definition of a good friend is a person  who is has a mutual reciprocal relationship with you where you can ask them to do something for you and they will do it  and not say selfishly why? what is it in it for me?  as opposed to a one sided,  selfish, control freak, give me, give me, give it to me relationship.

We all do have a natural desire to be loved, accepted by others, to have good friends. and this same desire can become  misused .. false persons can misuse  it, and/or we can go overboard in our desire to please others too..
 
Now everyone should be part of a valid social network, community, have good friends, but they must also be able to live alone, to stand up for their own rights, values, respect too.
 
All persons are also still known by the company they do keep now also.

Money the root of all evil
 
Some people tend today to say that most of the martial divorces tend to be over money.. initially that is not often the case, there are other reasons for the maritial disputes, fights too.. even factors such as fighting over control-the power struggle, laziness, unrealistic expectations, even sexual lusts.. etc.,
 
 But next often it does seems that when you are first in love, and poor you are willing to share with your spouse everything, even your bank account.. the problem tends to next arise when the money hungry spouse is seduced by money.. she  or he gets an inheritance, a gift from a relative, brother and sister, and they are no longer willing to share with their spouse their new found fortune.. and the daily quarrels, fights of over the money, jealousies start to escalate.  even with people who have been now married  now for 50 years too.
 
Are there solutions to this conflict.. Should a husband a wife always , soley have a joint bank account?
 
sadly in reality here most people seem to end up divorcing before being willing to share ,and as a result tend to lose it all rather next to the courts, lawyers instead.

"Meditating on the Lord  by Walter Beuttler - (One evening some years ago when I first began teaching at Green Lane) I was fast asleep in my bed – when somebody spoke aloud, and said, Brother Beuttler.  I knew it was the Lord that had awakened me, but I did not know what to do. Well now, let’s see here what King David had to say about this?  Psalm 63:6-7 When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches, because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. In the night watches: When I remember thee upon my bed. Contemplating the Lord. Meditating on Him. Look now at what he says: Because thou hast been my help.  Reviewing for an instant, what God has done for us.  Reviewing His great works on our behalf.  David meditated on the Lord in the night watches.

The activity here that David speaks of is meditation. You know as well as I do that we’re living in a very -- in the age of electronics. People these days are losing the art of meditation.  And this is a universal thing, especially in the western world. Somehow people don’t seem to like to think anymore. That’s true. People (Especially church people) want to have their thoughts thought by others. (Note here that Beuttler spoke these words before first mention of Discipleship, Shepherdship, or a believer or a fellowship ever needing spiritual coverings was made. The here irony of this is Bob Mumford was one of Walter H. Beuttler’s most promising students.) People like others to do their thinking for them. You find that throughout the world, especially in the west. People today are losing the art of meditation, and contemplation.

We have a television in our house. Now you are lucky in one respect. Unless I’m mistaken, you get television only from one channel here. Is that correct? Well, in the States in our metropolitan centers, you have a dozen or more stations from which you can select anything. You can get almost any kind of program you want. If you don’t like one, you turn to the other. If you don’t like that, you turn again. Like New York City, you get a basket full of stations. The result is that people, instead of thinking and meditating, and reading the Word, and contemplating God; they have turned to television.  (We see here that by Brother Beuttler having a TV in his house, and his reference to Pentecostal believers in the States, as well as the members church he is visiting in Australia of all having televisions, -- that the argument over television in Christian households had already been long lost among Pentecostals. But as we all well know this battle to captivate [to place in captivity] believer’s minds only began there with each successive layer of electronic gadgetry becoming more seductive than the last, VCR’s, Cable Television, Video Gaming, The Internet, and now online gaming. The pull in people’s lives of these virtual trees of knowledge of good and evil is exponential above and beyond what TV was in its heyday. 
  In many churches our Sunday night services are all but abandoned. Why? People are at home watching television (Or any of the more updated things we are captivated by today) You take a trans-Pacific flight: I go on a 10-11 hour non-stop flight. All right, you have your meals and after awhile it’s movie time. Pull down the shades, and now comes the movies. And people sit there hour after hour watching all of that junk. They want to be entertained. (But there was and still is a lot more going on here than just being entertained – things are entering the eye-gate and the ear-gate and making imprints in our minds, in our souls, and dare I suggest in our spirits.  What was once outrageous, or in poor taste, or altogether unclean by listening to the “ungodly’s” multitude of council day in and day out and week in and week out becomes common placed, and just the regular talk. The power of the media regardless of its form  -- should not be underestimated. In the book “The Media” experts from the industry boast on how they have turned American society inside out, and have shaped political opinion for decades – and have the graphs and charts to prove it.)  What a God-given opportunity to read and think, to review your life, to contemplate things. That’s where I use my time for meditation, for waiting on the Lord, for reading the Word or even magazine, for sitting there and doing some thinking. (The) people (in the church) don’t want to think (either). They want to be entertained (too). So you are lucky. You have only one station. In the States, you can turn to a dozen stations. Here if you don’t like one program, you have to turn the thing off. The best part of a television set is the switch to turn it off, especially in light of the junk you get on it,- at least we do at our home.

Now then:

He didn’t get up at 1:00 o’clock in the morning and say, "Well now, I’m awake. What shall I do? I’ll think I’ll go to the television set and watch the late show." I don’t know what you have, but we have ‘The Evening Show;” we have “The Late Show; we have “The Late, Late Show;” we have “The Late, Late, Late Show. And now halfway through the morning, programs are still going on. Well, David did some meditating. Notice what God says is Psalm 1:1-3:

Psalm1:1-3 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Do you notice in passing, how people (These days are) deteriorating in their relationship with God? (The truth is most churches and believers have been asleep for the last three decades and few and noticed anything even slightly amiss.) First, you have walking, then you have standing, then you have sitting. First we walk with the sinners. Then we stand with them, and finally we sit with them. And then we are one of them. (Beuttler knew, Beuttler foresaw this day, and what has replaced the life and spirituality that those of his generation sought God for, and found of Him.)

And in his law doth he meditate day and night. What better thing to do at night than to contemplate the Lord and to meditate in His Word? David used the night season to meditate on the Lord and His Word. Psalm 119:55 gives us another activity related to this: I have remembered thy name, O Lord, in the night, and have kept thy law.  (Meditatation, contemplation, remembering and delighting, none of these words imply accidentally running into God. All of these words are deliberative acts, deliberate in that they have to been knowingly done, and knowingly in the place of something else. Another point is most of these words are deliberating calling to memory things that most believers never give a second thought to. – In other words here we see someone treating as precious, that which others taken in by the cares of the world normally treat as common and trod under foot.) David remembered His name during the night.

Now to think upon the name of the Lord is to think upon what God is. His name is what He is. His name is His character. In other words, if we could invent (which is impossible) one word, which in one word would embody the sum total of all that God is. If all that God is could be put into one word, that would be His name. In the Bible, the Lord has many names. The reason the Lord has many names in the Bible is that the Lord is so much that there is not any one name that could possibly be a descriptive name of what He is. When we call upon His name, we call upon the characteristics and attributes of God.

I’d like to now turn to Isaiah 50:10:

Isaiah 50:10 Who is among you that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of His servant, (and) that (ends up) walking in darkness, and hath no light?  Let him trust in the name of the Lord, and stay upon his God.

 Look here: There is such a thing in our Christian experience as going through a period of darkness when misfortune has befallen us, sorrow has touched us, trouble has come our way, and we are unable to account for or find our way through it. I have heard it preached, Folks, if you are obeying the Lord, and walking daily with God, you’ll never be in the dark."

There are those in evangelistic faith healing circles who teach Job was not upright, that he was not perfect in his ways before God  And that all that befell Job occurred because Job sinned and let his hedge down  when he feared.

Folkses You know, that just is not so.

Job was a choice saint of God, and God said so. He was a man that feared God, stayed away from evil, was an outstanding and righteous man, and he was in thick darkness for over a year with the things that had befallen him.

But look here, look at who these scriptures address, Who is among you -- You! that feareth the Lord, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light?" Here you have a situation in Job, of a believer in God, who fears God, and obeys God, and yet has trouble. In fact, it is true. (And these things happen more than you think.)  (Pardon me here as I do not have time to develop this thought.), that there are people who are going through severe trouble, not because they failed God, but because they had walked with God. And Job is an example of this.

The devil gets other (Believers) eyes on Job (And then gets other believers to stand in his place accusing Job night and day.) . Now what is such a person to do? Let him trust in the name of the Lord, in what God is. And when we go, as it were, through deep waters (Of deep trouble, deep darkness, not because we have failed God, but because we have walked uprightly with the Lord) 

and when the Lord visits us in the night, and awakes us in the night in one way or another, what are we going to do?  Let him contemplate the name of the Lord. – (Let him meditate) what He is: He’s good, He’s faithful, He’s righteous, He is a thousand and one things. The night season is a good time for thinking upon His name.

Psalm 16:7 I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: (He who pulls) my reins also instruct(s) me in the night seasons.

In Psalm 16:7, we see the night seasons are also for instruction. And we also see we (can) learn things in the night (Through our meditation, contemplation, remembering and delighting in the Lord) that we (can not and) do not learn, or are not likely to learn, at any other time. I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel; (He who pulls) my reins also instruct(s) me in the night seasons.

Now this word reins is a difficult word in the Hebrew. It really means my kidneys, but in those earlier years, the kidneys were regarded as the seat of our personality. We know better now. What David is saying is that during the night, God gives me instruction, and I learn things from my own contemplation, from God speaking from within my own spirit. My own spirit will teach me during the night. In my walk I have received from the Lord many instructions during the night. So did Jesus.

Remember last Sunday? "The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned. He wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth my ear as things that are taught." The Lord instructs us during the night. We learn from our own spirit. We see things more clearly often during the night when we can concentrate on one thing or another.

I’m moving rapidly trying to cover as much as I can. I’ll see what I can do.

Psalm 42:8 Yet the Lord will command his loving-kindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.

His song shall be with me. Now we’ll turn to Job for a minute.

Job 35:10 But none saith, Where is God my maker, who giveth songs in the night?

Folkses, there are times when during the night God gives us a song. Have you ever experienced this? Who giveth songs in the night." I had one the other night. I can’t go into detail, I suppose, but I got a song from the Lord during the night that changed my attitude toward the person. I told Wife in the morning, "I have to take a different attitude toward that person. The Lord gave me a song." It was a strange song for the occasion and I wondered what to make of it. Then I made the connection.

I had an attitude toward a person, though not totally wrong, was nevertheless, it was tarnished by a wrong attitude. Which I would say, was at least contrary to Him. That song taught me to modify my attitude, and consequently, my actions.

During the night He gives us songs of worship, songs of David. I was up with the Lord one night while we were here, and I was sitting there and happened to think about my itinerary. I had a question. Should I, or should I not stop in a certain place. At once, a song rose up, Publish glad tidings, tidings of peace, and I knew right away I was to stop there. The Lord will guide you many times with a song. (If you are not asleep with everyone else.) He gives songs in the night.

I was up another time when I was last here, up for a little while with the Lord. And I had questions in my mind about my having visiting a certain place. It was another one. In regards to that place, I wanted to know whether I had made a mistake? That’s more accurate. And as I wondered, a song came up, It is well with my soul.  Do you sing that here?  It is well with my soul.

Then I knew everything was all right, and was able to leave it alone. He giveth songs in the night. If you only knew that, (Deep within) you, you would then  discover many times the song that comes to you is not simply there as a song, but it is a song to give us instructions.

One night I was awakened out of a deep sleep in the States, and I am a poor sleeper, but I was in a deep sleep that time. I was awakened by a song that sang so -- shall I say, loud.  I heard it sing in my spirit, and there it was. The song woke me and the song was: Up from the grave He arose. I knew what it meant: It’s meant it was time to get up. That’s the school of the Spirit. Who giveth songs in the night. You must watch for that thing. (Or they will pass you by.)  Many times I get these songs - by day too. I get one very often. Oh can I think of it? I’m trying to hurry, and I’m not made for hurry.

I can’t think of it. It will probably come to me. It’s a chorus the Lord often uses with me to alert me that’s He’s going to call on me with something later on. Very often, it’s prayer or intercession. The Lord uses songs by day. He gives songs by night. If it comes to me, I’ll weave it in.

Turn to Ephesians 5:18-19 because the songs are not always a special message or for guidance. Here is another purpose:

Ephesians 5:18-19 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in Psalm and hymns and spiritual songs (Songs of the Spirit), singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.

Here we see that the Lord, by His Spirit, puts into our hearts a melody by day or by night. And when you get (This song of the Spirit) it by day or night: Well, what will you do with this melody? That is if it does not seem to be for guidance or anything. What do you do with it? Oh, (I’m trying to make up a word) You melody it unto the Lord. It doesn’t have to be loud, just let this thing (Beuttler holds his hand over his chest) sing aloud, and let it sing unto the Lord like,  (Beuttler sings:) How Great Thou Art, or whatever it is that wells up within you. Don’t just let this thing go around and around, and around and around, and around and around, until it all dissipates into nothing.  Take it and make melody in your heart to the Lord.

You don’t have to wake the family up in the middle of th night and shout all over the place. It doesn’t say make melody with your voice, but it says Make melody in your heart to the Lord"

So the Lord gives those songs. And Job knew it. Who giveth songs in the night.

Isaiah 26:9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early.

(And all we have to do is begin to meditate, contemplate, remember and delight in the Lord -- and then really see what He will do.)

Well we all do know that we also do experiences unexpected, unpredictable,  hail storms, with violent thunder too in our own life's, where we are beset by negative events, negative circumstances and things are not going the way we had expected them too. And we are not sure if God still has things under his control and how we should react to these storms of life. Two persons will face the same events, and yet their attitudes, experiences may be totally different.. One person next  Rejoices over the events, and the other one is biiter over them. Why? (Heb 4:2 KJV)  For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. (Eccl 8:6 KJV)  Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great upon him.  (Eccl 8:11 KJV)  Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.12  Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:13   But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.

(Job 33:4 KJV)  The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.Then as we trust God and also praise God we next will come through unscathed, victorious, and even learn the lesson that God has designed for us through the storm..
   
(Eccl 5:15 KJV)  As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.
  
(Eccl 12:13 KJV)  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 

And we always need to remember that  (Eccl 2:26 KJV)  For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is ( for their) vanity and vexation of spirit.

 
(Eccl 3:1 KJV)  To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2  A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3  A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

(Eccl 9:12 KJV)  For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.
 
(Eccl 7:14 KJV)  In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.
 
(Eccl 7:18 KJV)  It is good that thou shouldest take hold of this; yea, also from this withdraw not thine hand: for he that feareth God shall come forth of them all
 
In psalm 29 David describes a thunder­storm sweeping over the Palestinian countryside in a fury of lightning and thunder, accompanied by heavy rains and resultant flood and destruction.  Read it through and you will see that the Psalm as a whole is a graphic setting in which God seeks to instruct His children when they find themselves in circumstances comparable to such a storm-for example, the flames of the fire of testing, the rumbling thunder of fearful events and floods of unexpected reverses and innocent sufferings.

Psalm 29:1  A Psalm of David. Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
2  Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
3  The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.
4  The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
5  The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.
6  He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.
7  The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.
8  The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
9  The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.
10  The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.
11  The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

  
Notice the Psalmist's eloquent language:
The voice" of the Lord is upon the waters.... The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. The voice of the Lord breaketh the ce­dars      The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire. The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness....The voice of the Lord . . . discovereth the forests Psalm 29: 3-9.
 
In these turbulent circumstances of life it is of para­mount importance that we be properly oriented. A Christian who is not sure of his position in the storm in relation to God is open to additional though unnecessary difficulties. He becomes an easy prey to the wiles of the enemy and a possible victim of the coun­sel of ignorant advisers.  In order to preclude any such eventuality one must turn to the repeated use of the phrase, "the voice of the Lord," which occurs seven times. This might appear to be mere meaningless repetition in the eyes of the casual reader, yet this very repetition constitutes the heart of this remarkable Psalm and provides the key to the whole problem namely, that the storm is "the voice of the Lord". God. wants us to know that He speaks in the storm., by means of the storm. 
 
Now it might be rightly asked, "What does God say in the storm?" In answer to this question another rep­etition must be observed. The name "Lord" is used eighteen times. The meaning of the name "Lord" as used in this Psalm is said to be, "He (who) is." This is very suggestive and so appropriate because the enemy of our souls will seek to defeat us in the storm by casting an aspersion on God as regards His promises.
 
The, enemy, will endeavor to_ make us believe that God is the God who isn't. But this Psalm declares God is "He who is." "He who is divideth the flames of fire" (lit., "sendeth forth the lightnings"). "The voice of the He who is breaketh the cedars." "The voice of the He who is is upon the waters," etc. This repetition of "Lord" leads us to the primary cause of the storm - God, who seeks to reveal Himself as "the He (who) is."
 
It must further be noted that there is a reference to God, not merely in every verse, but in every statement. Altogether there are twenty-two direct and two in­direct references to God. The entire Psalm is saturated with God, so to speak. What is the meaning of this? That God is in the storm; that He is He who is when it seems He isn't. That He is in the lightning, in the thunder, in the water, in all. The Psalm, we repeat, is saturated with God; so is the experience. The believer in the storm, must see and believe that He who is sent it; that He who is is in it; and that He who is speaks by it.
  
 Not only does God send the storm; He comes with it. "The Lord sitteth upon the flood" (v. 10). This verse begins to throw some light on the purpose of the storm. Since God is pictured as sitting upon the flood, He evidently uses the flood as a means of conveyance, so that the flood of the storm which comes into the believer's life brings God with it. This remains true, whether God's purpose is to bring us more into the fellowship of the sufferings of Christ, as mentioned in Philippians 3:10, or God seeks to teach us lessons in order to give us a ministry of help and comfort to those in distress, as stated in 2 Corinthians 1:4, 5. This re­mains true, whether God needs to demonstrate to Satan that we serve Him because of what He means to us (and not merely because of what He does for us ) as illustrated in Job 1:1 to 2:10, or whether His purpose is to Enlarge our capacity and desire for Him.
      
 The storm will often effect this by tearing us loose from encumbrances that retard our progress, and from preoccupation with things that compete with God for our attention and affection. Thus the storm becomes a means whereby we are conditioned for a closer walk with God, as well as a medium of conveyance, bringing God with it. "The Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet" Nahum 1:3. After the sky has cleared and the flood has subsided, the trusting believer _will be con­scious of a fresh deposit of the reality of the presence of God in his heart, for "the Lord sitteth upon the flood."
   
 "The Lord sitteth King forever" (v. 10). Hallelujah! Not only does He who is come with it and sit upon it; He sits upon it as King, as Ruler, as Sovereign. In other words, He controls the flood. The same Lord who uses the storm as a vehicle, who thus conveys Himself into the believer's heart by a means and in a manner which probably could not be as well accomplished in any other way, exercises such a providential control that the flood, while it is great enough to accomplish His purpose, is not so great that the believer would be engulfed beyond his ability to stand it. "God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able," the apostle assures us. He who is is com­pletely Sovereign of the flood. He sits upon it, so He comes with it. He sits King, so He holds it in control. He sits King "forever," so He is always in control. This is the believer's assurance in the storm.
   
 "The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless His people with peace" (v. 10). Strength and peace is the believer's provision for the storm. God who sends the storm also grants the strength to endure it. He "will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it" 1 Corinthians 10:13. This way of escape is not so much a deliverance from the storm as it is a deliverance in the storm.  The grace and strength of God enables us to bear the storm while the purpose of God is being accomplished.
   
This strength will be imparted as we wait upon Him, not as we wait for the sympathy of the people. "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength" Isaiah 40:31. Waiting upon God is as indispensable (and as delightful) a Christian exercise as it ever was. There is no substitute. Israel complained in Isaiah 40:27 in the same manner in which a Christian might be tempted to complain in the storm: "My way is hid from the Lord, and my judgment is passed over from my God." In other words, they complained that God does not see, God does not care; and as another version has it, "the justice due me is passed away." This ques­tions the justice of God. There is great danger in such an attitude. The context uses the words "faint," "weary," and "fall."
  
As far as the passage in Isaiah goes, this fainting, wearying and threatened falling is due to lack of con­fidence in the attributes of God Isaiah 40:28; failure to realize that God provides the ability to walk with Him Isaiah 40:29. We are doomed to failure, even at the height of our own resources Isaiah 40:30, unless we wait upon God for enabling by His strength. "The Lord will give strength unto his people."
  
"They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles. . . ." It has been said that in an approaching storm all the birds will scurry for cover in fright, except the eagle. He will face the storm, with wings spread, and will allow the howling, contrary wind to carry him to great heights. This is the Christian's privilege in the storm. Such an achievement takes the strength which only God can give; it requires spending time in waiting before Him."The Lord will bless his people with peace" (v.11). This is the promise of a tranquil mind and heart in the middle of the storm. Peace not just after the storm, but during the storm. The kind of peace that Christ had when "he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow," during a storm that filled the ship with water and threatened their lives (see Mark 4:38; Luke 8:23). Let it be noted that these disciples were in the will of God, despite wind, waves, and danger; for they had obeyed His command, "Let us go over unto the other side of the lake." Our very obedience to God may lead us into a storm which   we would not otherwise experience, but it also leads to a compensating revela­tion of His power which we would not otherwise ex­perience either.
The peace of God is not something negative, not a mere absence of disturbance. It is something positive -the conscious presence of a supernatural calm pro­duced in our hearts by the Spirit. This peace is "not as the world giveth"; it is not dependent on favorable circumstances. In fact, it is independent of both favor­able and unfavorable circumstances alike. In short, it is truly His peace, the peace of God.
 
This peace acts as an insulator, as a defense against, the disturbance of the storm. The strength of the Lord enables us to bear the pressure of the storm, but the peace of God which passes all understanding (and all misunderstanding too) keeps the disturbing elements of the outer storm from penetrating our being.

This twin provision of strength and peace logically leads to the consideration of our activity in the storm.
"Give unto the Lord glory and strength. Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness" (vv. 1, 2). This then should be our activity in the storm- to give unto the Lord worship, to give Him glory. The angels are doing it. ". . . And in his temple doth every one speak of His glory" (v. 9). In any  storm God calls for worship; we owe it to Him.
 
"Give unto the Lord, O ye mighty," Who are the mighty in the storm? Those who know that it is the"stormy wind fulfilling His word" (Psalm 148:8); those who see God in the storm and wait upon Him for strength. They are called upon to give Him strength, to attribute and contribute, to give Him the fruit of the strength He gave them, even praise in the midst of   the storm, and despite the storm- and even because of the storm. The mighty in His strength will give Him glory and praise while they behold the effects, of the storm, the broken cedars of their fondest hopes. They, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness without charging God foolishly, though their hearts are oppressed with a terrible sense of loneliness. They may feel as bleak within as is the desolation without.
    
Though the spirit may 'be crushed, and the will may falter because the future may seem empty, God calls for worship with repeated emphasis. "Give unto the Lord," He calls, "Give unto the Lord." Faith will re­spond and say, "It is the voice of the Lord in the storm; therefore will I join the angels giving God glory!"

 God in these days also is still speaking to us not just through the words in His Bible.  "You are not to go to the left or to the right unless you hear a voice ( of the Holy Sprit) saying this is the way walk there in".. Many of us have not learned as to how to hear this voice .  

 

  It also now seems that unresolved problems tend to make us seek God. How to draw closer to God. You have wanted God to speak to you for a long time. You have wanted to talk to God and get answers back. This  is an opportunity for you to have a dialogue with God. God too wants to communicate with you. You might have been in church, a crusade, in your room, or outside under the stars. You felt God's call, but you didn't know exactly what God wanted you to do. You knew you were going to do something special, but you didn't know what it was. Now you can also find out God's plan for you, and others too and the literature is all free too.   It teaches you how to hear God's voice.  God will teach you many things you need to know.  Valid spiritual tools to help you make conscious contact with God: Praise, Prayer, Humbleness, Obedience, the Bible. Get yourself ready where God speaks to you
   
       

In the book of Psalms we find the expression of a yearning for God Himself; a cry from deep within our hearts, for something more in God. And in reality this is a response to God’s longing heart, His thirst for fellowship with men. That He might fill us to overflowing that we might come into a deep abiding personal relationship with Him and His Son Jesus Christ.

Psalm 84:2 My soul longeth yea fainteth for the courts of the Lord. 

This is a longing for His presence and His anointing. This is a cry to walk in the Spirit. My friends, there is something higher, something purer in God that is available to us in this day and this very hour in which we walk.  This longing for the Lord is the irresistible urge as expressed by those who so hunger and so thirst after God. 

My heart and my flesh crieth out for the Living God Have you experienced this cry for Him to inhabit his people?  Have you felt this yearning to be so clothed upon by the Spirit of God? This spiritual longing is far different than the cry of selfish earthly prayers of men. 

Psalm 63:1 O lord Thou art my God Early will I seek thee. My Soul thirsteth for Thee. My flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land where no water is.  This is so apart from the typical Christian experience. Are you so consumed with having this inner knowing of God? Do you so thirst that you will be satisfied with nothing less than knowing Him in all the fullness that can be known of him even as the apostles and the prophets of old so knew Him? 

David said: “One thing have I desired of the Lord and that will I seek after . . . ” Many of this day are guilty of having divided hearts, so that they seek many things. They seek for their ministry. They seek for earthly riches. They seek for their own power. They seek to be seen of men. But there are those who seek God for himself. Believing that His fellowship, His presence, and His approbation are all the reward in itself.

David said: “As a hart panteth after the water brooks so panteth my soul after thee. . .”  In out questing for the Lord we find ourselves running over hill and dale, running through mountains and valleys, panting and longing with our mouth wide open, pressing forward, stretching ourselves to reach His streams of living waters. Have you caught the scent of His living waters? I am told that a deer can smell water from miles away.

If you are willing to lay aside your own personal aspirations. If you are willing to close your wandering lustful eye. If you will reach out to Him with all your heart, you too can enter into this wondrous thirst -- and sup with Him and eating with Him of His secret manna and drinking with Him of His living waters. 

Psalm 107:9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, (The Thirsty) and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.    

There is a terrific operation of the Spirit going on today to bring the Sons of God into an absolute confinement to the perfect will of God. This is the Day of His Preparation the day in which He is preparing the channel through which He shall pour forth His Glory for all the world to see. This channel is His Body in the earth that glorious company of people who are being conformed through much tribulation and fiery tests to the Image of the Son of God. This is His "battle axe and weapons of war" with which He shall subdue kingdoms and overcome all His enemies. This is His "mighty and strong One" to whom He shall commit the work of judging this world. This is His Overcomer, His "great army" with which He shall bring the nations into submission. The weapons of their warfare are not carnal, natural weapons but they are mighty weapons, mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. These are those who shall "be strong and do exploits."
 
But before God can commit this great and tremendous ministry into their hands they must submit themselves to the discipline of the Lord letting Him truly be the Lord of their entire lives. 

“Fear thou not, for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness” (Isaiah 41:10).  

How can I practice His abiding presence? 

1) Wait on the Lord: Begin each day by rising up early and sit before Him. Consecrate your life afresh to be a part of His will and purpose in the earth. Ask Him to cleanse and forgive you, and to open your spirit to Him. Be aware of those things He has done for you and His answers to prayer. For the Lord truly appreciates being appreciated. 

Have you ever come to the Lord just to sit in His presence and fellowship with Him? We can be so taken up with asking for things that we forget that He has personal feelings, too. You might feel strange if people only came to you when they wanted something. 

2) Worship the Lord: Praise, the Bible states, is the fruit of our lips. At times our praise can become lip service rather than luscious fruit to God. This is something to be reckoned with. What is worship? Worship is that which cries out from deep within to bless the Lord. Praise can be singing to the Lord, but worship is singing before the Lord. “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him” (John 4:23). To come to this higher level requires a special creative working of God within us as we wait before Him. “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (II Cor. 3:18). Entering into a more vital worship and waiting in His presence is a life changing experience. 

3) Meditating on God’s Word: “My meditation of Him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord” (Ps 104:34). There is a sweetness in His presence, holding His word before Him during the day. The word “meditate” comes from an old English word which literally means, “to chew the cud,” to ponder, to turn over in one’s mind. When we meditate on His word, we receive a strength and an understanding that we cannot get otherwise. “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us. . .” (John 1:14). This is God’s very life and nature entering the depths of our being as we sit with Him meditating on His word! 

4) Smell the Roses Along the Way: There is a saying that rings with meaning: “As you go throughout the garden of life, don’t forget to smell the roses along the way.” There are joys and many things to be experienced as we walk out our life in God. It is possible to get so busy that we lose the joy of our salvation, becoming too mechanical for simple things. But God hides Himself in simplicity. If we learn to enjoy where we are in God appreciating what God is doing with and in us, we will make much more progress in our Christian life.

Can a person change?

Here also is what I know for sure, the older the person is the more extreme, more severe, the more difficult the punishment has  to be on them to cause them to personally to change in their own  negative ways, for they are too set in them now too. 

   
Beware though — most bad persons  employ false denial techniques that build more walls between them and others.
  
Being nice. kind, friendly  to a really bad person  is still also a complete waste of time, for they will not change their negative behaviors on their own, they see   no reasons to do so now still too. Sad but true. We cannot never control a bad person, a drug addict or an alcoholic, but we can learn all about it and learn firstly to control our own behavior, appropriate responses –including how we should behave in the relationship with the  sick and suffering and /or possibly manipulative addict or alcoholic, abuser..

Now we all seem to meet all type  of persons in real life, the control freaks, verbal and human right abusers, Bullies, enslavers, liars, cheaters, imposters, pretenders, con artists too.  And we often do wonder why they do not change..
 
In fact it is next impossible try to to change others. I have seen many marriage fail cause the wife was naďve to believe she could change her husband instead of accepting him for who, what he was at the time of marriage. After all it is easier to change oneself than others too but wrongfully most people try to change others and not themselves. .
 
In reality also now whether you are talking now about a parent, a relative, about spouses, criminals, alcoholics, drug addicts to what ever no one can be helped firstly who refused to admit they need help, and next also refuses thus next any help to change now as well.
 
And in truth the only people I have ever seen who manifested any  lasting, real changes were these people changed by God, who had next became born again, and to be fully truthful here too next half of them even got worse again next, a dog who returned to their vomit, they denied next the DENIED THE SAME FAITH THEY BELIEVED IN TOO.
 
The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous rightfully says that only God can next heal, relieve the sin, the illness of addiction. It requires the addictive person to first confess they have sinned and next ask for God’s forgiveness, help. 
 
Too many a persons also do falsely deny who they really are, hiding behind prestigious or pretentious facade that they are unknown, cannot be discerned, read, known cause they are too complex.. you can fool some of the people some of the time, most of the people most of the time but not all of the people all of the time..
 
The fastest way to change is by praying, even by the prayers of others, reading the Bible as well..
 
Jesus himself said a person can be known simply by what they do. good people do good things.. and bad people tend to do bad things.

 Today many Children are also being falsely led to  believe that Gambling, Alcohol and Bad drug use is generally  safe. The average 18 year old has seen 100,000 television commercials encouraging him or her to drink. That’s why 80% of high school seniors have tried alcohol, 32% have gotten drunk in the last thirty days, 43% smoke marijuana, and about one third are smoking cigarettes. Most addicts die of their addiction and they take their family members down with them. The first step in any help program recovery is to get honest with yourself. Get honest even as to what the other person is really like.. Do not let them take you down the drain with them next too..
 
We all must take any personal addiction seriously because 25% of North Americans die as a result of substance abuse. The average alcoholic dies twenty-six years earlier than he or she would otherwise. Drug users, alcoholics, cheaters, abusers, adulterers affect negatively continually too the lives of at least six others
Establish Boundaries, Set Limits, Set detachement.  One example of setting a boundary is telling a close friend, aloved one  that you prefer they not be around you if they are smoking,  drunk or high. Notice that it is specific deamnd, and you have to sit down and communicate this type of request explicitly with that someone. Setting a boundary like this is difficult because there is this tendency to hurt other’s feelings. But that is part of what is keeping you ineffective– your caring more about this person’s feelings than your own personal well being. Setting boundaries is about putting your own personal well being and even that of others first, and letting that be a guiding example of how to live. You know you are setting effective boundaries when you are taking back control of your own life firstly and starting to regain your own sanity–instead of being all wrapped up in the problems of a struggling smoker, rebel, drug addict or alcoholic.
 
“Here are some things that you can do in order to practice detachment with the struggling pervert in your life:
-Don’t do things that they should be doing themselves.
-Don’t bend over backwards to rescue them or save them from natural consequences.
-Don’t cover up for their mistakes or embarrassing situations.
-Don’t rescue them from crisis or financial situations.
-Don’t try to fix them.
-Let go of any guilt you may have about them
Detachment is not about denying your emotions. If someone close to you dies, for example, you will probably feel sad. You can’t choose this feeling. It simply is. But we do have the power to affect the intensity of this feeling, by focusing on the positive aspects of the situation. We can also change our thinking in an attempt to eradicate irrational beliefs that might be contributing to our emotional turmoil.
The goal is not to go without emotions, the goal is to achieve some level of emotional stability. We are detaching from the negative, irrational thoughts that stir up our emotions–like the guilt we might have if we think someone’s perversity, addiction is our fault.
Detachment is difficult and takes practice.”

You have wanted to talk to God and get answers back. This  is an opportunity for you to have a dialogue with God. God too wants to communicate with you. You might have been in church, a crusade, in your room, or outside under the stars. You felt God’s call, but you didn’t know exactly what God wanted you to do. You knew you were going to do something special, but you didn’t know what it was. my teenager smokes, does not listen to me
  
Many persons complain that my teenager smokes, does not listen to me..  obviously he also does not listen to God , the teenager does not know how to communicate with God now next too. You still need to pray for Him that God will deal with him..  
   
(Prov 22:6 KJV)  Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
 
Understandably too many persons are discontented unhappy today with themselves ,and others and they basically have a God shaped vacuum that they are trying to fill in with alcohol, bad drugs, verbal abuse , power, control, sex, smoking or whatever, and none of this counterfeit fulfillment will even help to make for their own personal lasting happiness too.
 
Well in love you also do need to set down some rules, and hold to them  such as if you live under my roof, eat my bread, you abide by my rules.. or you do not get to eat, sleep here.. and you need to deal with their theft likely too, such as where are they getting the money for the cigarettes..

I personally had never smoked because my parents had never let me and when I grew up and became an adult next I saw no good reason to smoke,  saw next only plenty of bad ones, such it is bad for your health, shortens your life too.

Parents clearly have responsibility to bring up their children themselves  properly.. including a proper religious education
  
- They the parents need to prepare their children for real life..
 
- thus also they need to prepare their children to be able to have a decent job, by getting a decent education
 
- and they the parents also do need to bring up their children for marriage too, not falsely spoiling them..  Sadly many children do not even know next as adult how to cook, prepare a meal, sew, clean a house, they still even lack the discipline to even do so next..

The false divorce incentives            
 
(Luke 14:31 KJV)  Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? 32  Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.
 
Contrary to the devil's and lawyers lies, only the lawyer's and the courts are those persons who tend to get richer, profit generally from a divorce. On top of that Divorce persons tend to have a shorter life span, and more health problems as well compared to the others.
 
A spouse also tends not to file for divorce unless certain conditions are met..
 
- The think they can get richer by a divorce.. but 2 can live cheaper than one..
- They have a substitute mate in mind, whom they should have consulted first, cause often they have no intention ever of marrying them too..
- The have the false support of their family, mother generally, brother and sister. Even often a false pastor, a false church now too.
- They have adequate cash at hand to pay for the initially lawyer's fees. you would be surprised how many spouses still keep a hidden bank account from the other spouse, eventually the other spouse finds out and this causes really deep bitterness, anger, resentment, even unforgiveness too.
 
There's no doubt there are abusive spouses, male and females.. but often one spouses provokes the other one into an abusive response knowingly  beforehand as well..
 
Still there are no real spousal winners in broken home, a broken marriage generally now still too.
 
Both men and women often still are no angels. 
  
Can a true professing Christian now file for divorce? and why do so many Christians still do get divorced?
 
 There is clearly only one legitimate grounds for divorce for all believers, it is when  one an unrepentant spouse had committed adultery and refuses to repent... yes then divorce is mandatory here.. if they repent it is not! 
 
But  as far as unbelievers, we do not have to judge them they have been already judged by God and are going to Hell unless they repent (Rom 2:16 KJV)  In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
 
(1 Cor 5:12 KJV)  For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? (1 Cor 5:13 KJV)  But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

Yes, murder, divorce, adultery, stealing, drunkeness too and lying are all wrong;  All are a sin. John tells us, "Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness" (I John 3:4). Sin is the breaking of God's commands, so, yes, breaking any command of God is sinful. Sin is seprating  oneself from God, into an initial hell and eventually into an eternal hell even by one's own free will choice as well.  Sins can be repeatedly committed to the point that a person becomes numb to the guilt of violating God's law. (Prov 21:29 KJV)  A wicked man hardeneth his face: but as for the upright, he directeth his way. (Prov 28:14 KJV)  Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief. (Prov 29:1 KJV)  He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. (Rom 9:18 KJV)  Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.
 
   "Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron" (I Timothy 4:1-2). A word used for this state is "licentiousness," which has been briefly defined as being deluded to think that you have a license to sin. A related word, "lasciviousness" is defined as the state where a person doesn't care what God or man thinks of his actions. Generally these words are applied to sexual sins, but any sin can develop into licentiousness. "For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ" (Jude 4).
 
For true Christian believers a mutually agreed temporary marital separation is also permissible but not a divorce.. why not a divorce.. cause they will do the same wrong things definitely in their next marriage too.
 
(1 Cor 7:10 KJV)  And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:11   But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
 
(1 Cor 7:12 KJV)  But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.
 
(1 Cor 7:13 KJV)  And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. 14  For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

The Bible says that Adultery is God's trap, punishment for those whom he is upset at.. and the same Bible says that God does still punishes people even for their sins even if they have been forgiven as a deterrent for them not to sin anymore.

The too common abusive silent treatment

Is the continual silent treatment, the clear attempt at ignoring you, even  for days or weeks a sign of a mental abuse?
 
Absolutely yes! We all have am equal  right to speak and to be heard now as well. We tend talk to those people we love, and reject, ignore, divorce  those people we hate. No question about it. This type of response is a common and immoral act by selfish, spoiled, self centered persons.  Anything that they now next  can do to upset you, to get you guessing about why too, or to make you think that you have done something  wrong, have   them is their basic approach, motive.  

The silent treatment  it can be damaging to the individual’s emotional health where the victim  report a sense of not belonging, loss of control, lower self-esteem and a feeling of unworthiness.  People with a low self esteem, ostracized females tend to work very hard to win back the good graces of others but most males still do not.  
 
The silent treatment is another  definite, abusive, calculated  form of power control over others and also a pre calculated  mind game that the abuser falsely plays on their victims . Spouses, Teachers, Neighbors, Pastors, bosses also wrongfully play this game. And the victim could be anyone, a spouse, boyfriend or a mother, neighbor. They do want an overly  submissive reaction from you, to bring you under their false bondage,  to firstly still only make themselves feel more powerful and better than you. Now basically isn't that what they are looking for that big word POWER, Control, Domination. All friendship, relationship, submission too is reciprocal, and unenforced.
 
By openly ignoring you they try to falsely say that you are not important to them or any others or that to them you do not exist!! They falsely devalue you as a person and make you feel less as a person or at least  do try to  so  The abuser IS TRYING TO TO DEGRADE YOU TO FALSELY MAKE HIMSELF/HERSELF FEEL BETTER AND  is NOW ONLY PUSHING THEMSELVES RATHER. THEY ARE THE LOSERS NOW. Your recognition of the problem is 90 percent of the solution here too.
 
Persons who use this approach tend to escalate next to other forms of abuses also to get their way.  If confronted about this, they are exposed, they next often  tend to deny and deny their course of action, aim, to  lie. There here is basically nothing wrong with you, and remember that, you never really do not deserve this kind of treatment from anyone. It IS mental abuse! These bad people do need to find a better way for  their anger management. The adequate response next is to Tell them openly that you are aware they are upset at you, what they are doing you will give them next  5 minutes to talk about it and to get it out out of their system, and then you do not want to hear or see it again. You will go on with your life. Anyway this absue  only works only if you allow them to abuse you. Go on now, next  with your life even without them if you have too.
 
 (Psa 79:5 KJV)  How long, LORD? wilt thou be angry for ever? shall thy jealousy burn like fire?
 
(Psa 80:4 KJV)  O LORD God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?

I also do want to state that for all professing Chrsitians Divorce is also equally wrong and hurts our society just as much.. and it too should not be practiced in any Christian church by any Christian persons too..
 
Now in the Christian church all lusts, rape, adultery, sex outside of marriage, per the Bible now too, is immoral, unacceptable, and was well all human rights abuses are also still unacceptable, whether it is verbal, physical.. God never approves of it neither should any of us.. the public exposure and prosecution of the bad persons serves everyone’s best interest next too.. being kind, nice to bad guys is a waste of time, for they will not change unless they themselves experience real, negative, personal appropriate consequences .. we need to hate all evil, all abuses and to be angry at it too.. we can use the whip to deal with it like Jesus did to chase out the money lenders, commercial business in the temple, Christian Churches soley. Some persons would say that many homosexuals are violent and sexually deviant, but others would rather point out that most of the violent, sexual deviants are heterosexual men harming women, then they next are  charged with getting off-topic, but one still can add the reality that anyone who files for divorce, male or female is also a sexual deviant.. according the same Bible. We need to stand against all sins in the church.
  
In reality all men and women are still born and do act as equal sinners. And thus all unacceptable sins and abuses need to be presented honestly, fairly and equally too and not just as one side bashings of the abortionists, or gays now too.. even in the churches now too.

Many a person  has found himself in an unbearable situation, a bad marriage, bad job, or whatever.. and wants to change their circusmanstance.. but you need to see firstly still that it is firstly easier to adapt, to change yourself and often impossible  to try to change others. You still need God's help to make any changes too.

" Today I want to share with you Steps To Reaching Your Destiny. This paper will give you a basic guideline that should give your direction and inspiration about reaching your destiny in Christ.


Step Number One: Choose A Big Dream! ( But first make sure, confirm with God and his Word,  it is God's dream for you and not  your own)

Many times our lives are filled with planning and thinking about issues that will bring very little significance to our lives. Today I want to challenge you to choose a big dream, strive to reach your full potential and destiny in Christ.

Don't become so caught up with the small issues of life that you can't take advantage of the important dreams and opportunities God has for you! Make a decision this morning to take the time to think big! God is a big God!

"If you are hunting rabbits in tiger country, you must keep your eye peeled for tigers, but when you are hunting tigers you can ignore the rabbits." H. Stern

There are plenty of tigers to go around, don't be distracted by the rabbits.

Once you have set your faith on a big dream remember those who don't take chances don't make advances. Even a turtle doesn't get ahead unless he sticks out his neck.



Step Number Two: Don't Waste Tomorrow By Feeding On Your Yesterdays ( you cannot change the past but you can help to work on changing the future for self even .)

(Luke 9:62 NIV) Jesus replied, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God."

We live is a society of excuses and victims. Everyone is a victim today! I am a victim of my color, my genetics, my physical abuse, my sexual abuse, my finances, etc. It is time for us to stop blaming the past for our present failures and it is time to look forward with the faith and victory of Christ!

(2 Cor 5:17 KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

The more you look backward, the less time you have to look forward! Always learn from the past but invest your time and energies in the future. Never, never, never waste another moment of your life grieving, worrying or regretting the past that Christ h as already forgiven you of and forgotten.

(Phil 3:13 KJV) Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

(Phil 3:14 KJV) I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

The thing that destroys more people is the continual looking at their past and not looking to their future. You can not go back and change the past but you can go forward and change your future.

Today is the day when I will shake off the shackles of the past and move forward in Christ!



Step Number Three: Always Tell The Truth

T.L. Osborn said, "Always tell the truth, and you never have to remember what you said." The ninth commandment is, "Thou shalt not lie." Each Christian who desires to reach their full destiny in God must learn to tell the truth. We must be men and wome n of integrity and honor.

You will never have success in life if you built your future on half-truths and lies!

(Prov 12:22 KJV) Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.

(Prov 19:9 KJV) A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.

Prov 19:9: Verse 9. Lying is a damning, destroying sin.

(Col 3:9 KJV) Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

(Col 3:10 KJV) And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

Seven Results of Lying: ( besides the fact that you tend to delude, deceive yourself next, and you start to believe, act upon your own lies)

1) You will attract liars into your life and business dealings.
(Prov 17:4 KJV) A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue.
Prov 17:4: Verse 4. Flatterers, especially false teachers, are welcome to those that live in sin.

2) You will lack understanding.
(Psa 119:104 KJV) Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

3) You will never enjoy permanent success.
(Prov 12:19 KJV) The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.
Prov 12:19: Verse 19. If truth be spoken, it will hold good; whoever may be disobliged, still it will keep its ground.
(Prov 12:19 NIV) Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment.
(Prov 21:28 KJV) A false witness shall perish: but the man that heareth speaketh constantly.
Prov 21:28: Verse 28. The doom of a false witness is certain.

4) You will eventually end up in bondage and failure.
(Gal 2:4 KJV) And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

5) You will eventually be punished.
(Prov 19:5 KJV) A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.
Prov 19:5: Verse 5. Those that tell lies in discourse, are in a fair way to be guilty of bearing false-witness.

6) You will become a fool.
(Prov 10:18 KJV) He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.
Prov 10:18: Verse 18. He is especially a fool who thinks to hide anything from God; and malice is no better.

7) Your lies will always come back to haunt you.
(Psa 7:14 KJV) Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
(Psa 7:15 KJV) He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
(Psa 7:16 KJV) His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.

Determine today to speak the truth!

Step Number Four: Refuse To Walk in Fear and Worry! ( Even in the false submission to the oppressors, perverts, liars too)

Fear and worry are the interest you pay in advance for something you may never own. Worry is the triumph of fear over faith! Worry is the misuse of God's creative imagination and powers in our lives. Worry literally means to strangle or to choke off. When we worry we are strangling the very hope and faith of our future and destiny.

Fundamentals For Overcoming Worry:

1) Live in day tight compartments.
2) When you face problems:
A: Ask yourself, "What is the worst thing that could possibly happen?"
B: Prepare to accept the worst.
C: Try to improve on the worst.
3) Remember worry literally destroys your physical well being and health.
4) Get all the facts before your allow yourself to worry or fear.
5) Weigh all the facts and make the best decision possible based upon knowledgeable facts.
6) Once you have made a prayerful decision act upon it.
7) Write out and answer the following questions:
A: What is the problem?
B: What are the causes of the problem?
C: What are the possible solutions?
D: What is the best solution?
When you worry and fear you stop the creative powers of God to show you the solutions.

(Psa 55:22 KJV) Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

When you worrying you are diminishing the greatness of God in your life! Don't worry or fear take them to Christ for He cares for you.



Step Number Five: Choose Your Friends Wisely ( you are always known by the company you keep, so choose, get honest, decent good associates)

We need to be very careful about the kind of people we allow to become our friends. Our friends should be those who inspire us and bring out the best in you.

(Prov 27:19 TLB) A mirror reflects a man's face, but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses.

We become like the people we associate with! Choose your friends wisely! It is better to be alone than to be with the wrong friends.

(Eccl 4:9 TLB) Two can accomplish more than twice as much as one, for the results can be much better.

(Eccl 4:10 TLB) If one falls, the other pulls him up; but if a man falls when he is alone, he's in trouble.

(Eccl 4:11 TLB) Also, on a cold night, two under the same blanket gain warmth from each other, but how can one be warm alone?

(Eccl 4:12 TLB) And one standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer; three is even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.

Amateurs teach amateurs to be amateurs. If you want success you must decide to choose your friends wisely. You must associate with those who are going to positively influence your life and stand faithfully with you in the times of battle.

Take a moment and look at your friends are they helping you to serve Christ in a greater way or do they weaken your walk with Him?



Step Number Six: Be willing to Change! ( to make some movement now  as well..)

When you quit growing and changing in Christ you have made the decision to fail. This is true in every area of our lives. There are three things you should know about the future:

1) It is not going to be like the past.
2) It is not going to be exactly the way we think it's going to be.
3) The rate of change will be faster than we can imagine.
(Isa 42:9 KJV) Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

(Isa 42:9 TLB) Everything I prophesied came true, and now I will prophesy again. I will tell you the future before it happens."

If you are truly seeking God and your destiny you will be able to know the future in advance and make the necessary adjustments to adapt to the changes. Always be prepared to change. If you are not changing you are not preparing for the future.



Step Number Seven: If You Know What God Can't Do You Will Know What He Can Do! ( God he will help next do for you what you cannot do if it is in His Will 

1) God cannot lie.
2) God cannot change.
3) God cannot recall our sins after we have asked for forgiveness.
4) God cannot be the author of confusion.
5) God cannot leave us or forsake us.
6) God cannot go back on His promises.
7) God cannot revoke His gifts.
8) God cannot be pleased without faith.
9) God cannot be defeated.
10) God cannot be too big for our problems.
11) God cannot be too little for our problems.
12) God cannot break His covenants.
13) God cannot revoke His calling in our lives.
14) God cannot do anything contrary to the scriptures.
15) God cannot give anything to a double-minded man.
16) God cannot be forced into an impossible situation.
17) God cannot ignore the praises of His people.
18) God cannot be our problem.
19) God cannot be late.
20) God cannot be weak.
21) God cannot be against us.
22) God cannot be limited or confined.


Step Number Eight: Know That God can  Use You Right Where You Are Today! ( Inspite of who and what you are..)

God always uses willing vessels. God will use you right where you are today. Many people are concerned that they are not qualified to be used by God. God will use anyone who is willing to follow him. 

1) Matthew was a government employee a tax collector who became an apostle.
2) Gideon was a common laborer who became a valiant leaders of men.
3) Jacob was a deceiver who became Israel.
4) Deborah was a housewife who become a judge.
5) Moses was a stutterer who became a deliverer.
6) David was a shepherd boy who became a king.
7) Hoses was a marital failure who prophesied to save Israel.
8) Joseph was a prisoner who became a prime minister.
9) Peter was a fisherman who became the rock.
10) Isaiah was a man of unclean lips who prophesied the birth of Christ.
11) Paul was a persecutor who became the greatest missionary of all.
12) Mary was a unknown virgin who became the mother of Christ.
 
God will use you regardless of your present circumstances and he loves you enough to help in your present state. All God needs to use you is all of you! "

Messed  up... excuse the language but too many people now are also  messed up and who can you really blame themselves, the devil, God, their mother, their father, others?
  
Legitimate or not I often have people coming to me telling me their sob stories,  and I next still have rightfully often wondered why I seem to hear from them only in the bad times, and is that how they treat even God now as well?  and why they are in trouble now too?
 
For it does still seem that troubles do have a way of making many of us turn to God.. especially when a doctor says there is nothing further he can do.. and when it seems you have fallen into a dark pit and there is no other way out.. and some people say there are no atheist in a war zone, fox hole?but here is where some charlatans, crooks come in too.. they say send me your prayers and your money of course and things next will be better for you, but after you send in your prayer requests and money nothing positive happens that seems to be too often rather  the case next too.
 
So who can you next trust to help you?  the adulterous , abusive Church pastor, the priest, the teacher, even those persons that abuse others, molest children, or the too often lying no good lawyers, Politicians, bad cops now too often as well?
 
The Bible clearly indicates to us all   often of many great saints who had also face unexpected, insurmountable obstacles, problems and they next conquered them too.. not by turning to mere men and women, but turning directly to GOD alone in humbleness, desperation too. (Psa 51:17 KJV)  The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
  
Yes it is better to trust in God alone, directly  then in mere man, in others..
 
But what next often has astonished me, so many professing Christians do not even now how to hear directly God's vioice, instructions, as to what to do next? and they are likely very typical of the 95 percent professing Christians who do not read their Bibles more than 5 minutes a day, never mind even next practice what the Bible says we all should too.(Psa 118:4 KJV)  Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.(Psa 118:5 KJV)  I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.(Psa 118:6 KJV)  The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?(Psa 118:7 KJV)  The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.(Psa 118:8 KJV)  It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.(Psa 118:9 KJV)  It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.(Psa 118:10 KJV)  All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.(Psa 118:11 KJV)  They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

The danger of excessive

 

 The danger of excessive eating, anger, emotions, mourning, boasting, or what ever is mere common sense and it next can lead to a loss of self control which will for sure next lead one to be demon possessed too sadly. Live in moderation.

 My real experiences is that I have been too often sexually propositioned , and so have many other pastors too,  in even the evangelical churches now too.

No divorce is acceptable  for HIM! Divorce , adultery are just as sinful, unacceptable  as prostitution,  pornography, lust, drunkness, cheating, lying, stealing  too.

Focus on the Family SUPPOSEDLY  provides timely, relevant, godly information  information and advice on marriage, parenting, faith, entertainment, life challenges and social issues.. and it has been my own often real  experienced that most people who mainly focused on their own family were  persons who  cast out too often their own inlaws, because  they  still were mostly discriminatory, guilty of false partialities, unloving, unkind, unfriendly and ungodly persons. Ironically they tend to divorce, separate from most other persons not in their own family and they next tend to reap what they sowed and become martially divorced themselves too.

These days it is too hard to tell the difference between secular persons and even evangelical pastors, Christians they seem to do the same things too. Why are alcoholics always in denial? and why do they often lie,  cheat, steal also now? Because if they do admit the truth they are alcoholics, sinners too  they do have now to repent of the sin of disobeying God’s word about being drunk too.. so they take the ostrich denial approach instead too often. Alcoholism still is a sin of a deliberate, personal choice, and to be set free you have to admit your sin, confess it, renounce it, ask God for forgiveness through Jesus Christ as well.. It is not only wrong for the average person it is also especially wrong for leaders in the government, politicians. It is amazing how one can quickly spot an alcoholic, while they cannot still see their sin, and how quick they are to oppose themselves being exposed now too..
 
I admit I had lost all respect for the supposedly great preacher Spurgeon who was so ready to preach to others about their sins, but he himself now could not resist  the Temptation of a cigar.  Similar we find out that other preachers could not give up smoking too.. The CMA is a pretentious and one of the most demonic churches I have been too made up of lying hypocrites where the professing Christians not only abuse people, poor people included, but they indulge in Alcohol too often too.. “I know that as a minister in the C&MA I am called to abstain from drinking alcoholic beverages, here at Safe Harbor there are just a few of people who voluntary give up drinking. The Evangelical CMA Christian PM Stephen Harper should also note that the New Conservatives themselves now tend to be just as much alcoholics as the Liberals. Any false preconceived notions that they generally are not is clearly a myth .Even our professing Canadian Christian Evangelical prime Minister Stephen Harper, and others, still should  note that these are basic, ground rules in proper Bible interpretation that must be followed before anyone even attempts to fully study, apply  the Holy Scripture even related to consuming much too many Alcoholic beverages now too? He personally and falsely, undeniably  loves his alcoholic  wine, beer much too much still too? WE ALL DO NEED to have a right attitudes EVEN  all of leaders, pastors, elders too, and they have to lead by a good personal example too.

 Look I am not alone in this view.. too many Canadian persons have noticed that we have much too many alcoholics in the governments, even as elected ones, even as leaders, Brian Mulroney was known for his boozing now too.. Regretfully still there  much too many alcoholics even in the Conservative party now for my liking,  , in this area too they are just as bad as the Liberal too it seems..  and who can forget Ralph Klein's alcoholic outburts too, A man is certainly known what he is like by the friends he keep and having an brain damaged alcoholic as a friend, as a  drinking buddy is really no virtue, it is a sad recommendation,  a poor reference that you cannot even be now proud off.. The Prime Minister Stephen Harper a professing Christian Missinary Alliance Evangelcial too had said that the ex PM Brian Mulroney was a close friends.. he Harper now really better start to get better friends and appointees than his alcoholic drinking buddies.. and still not one cent of taxpayers' money should ever be even used  to buy any alcoholic, alcohol  at any governmental function, expense account.. for we all know how bad alcoholism is and how much evil , suffering it brings, all alcoholics should be fired, especially all of the alcoholic the public and civil servants, all alcoholic  elected officials too  and  not rather falsely  rewarded with more alcohol for almost all of them are already known to be liars, cheat's thieves, abusers, etc..


There are several basic, ground rules in proper Bible interpretation that must be followed by all persons now  before anyone even attempts to fully study the Holy Scripture. The first rule is pray and ask the Holy spirit to guide you, to teach you.. not rather self, mere men or women.. we all should seek first and not last the Holy Spirit for illumination. The Holy Spirit wants to share the treasures of God’s Word with those who rightfully do esteem Him. The most important principle to remember in studying God’s Word is that it can only be understood with the help of the Holy Spirit.  Those who approach the Bible without the Holy Spirit to teach them, may gain some insight into truths, their lives, but also  will receive no definite, permanent, important life-changing revelation.  Bible Commentaries should be used only very sparingly if at  all. Even the most anointed man or woman, preacher  of God clearly still can be wrong, biased, have a hidden agenda, limited, (or just shallow) in their understanding or interpretation of certain Bible topics, subjects. Do not believe any man or women, rather solely Take God’s word for it.“A scorner seeketh wisdom, and findeth it not: but knowledge is easy unto him that understandeth” (Proverbs 14:6 )We know that alcoholism is a terrible sin  that now damages the person’s brain, affects their ability  to work, to drive a car, and negatively affects their own behavior and affects many others too. The same reality is true of one taking now bad drugs as well. So I was also similarly shocked, surprised to discover the the falsely professing evangelical Christian Stephen Harper our Prime Minister likes to consume wine, alcohol, and he buys it for others as well. Beyond a Biblical doubt the Genuine Born Again Evangelicals are total abstainers, like me, I never drink or touch wine or alcohol, at any time, nor do I give playboy, pornography, wine or wine glasses to anyone. ““Dr. Daniel Akin, President of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary has written an article in favor of the famous Resolution #5 (Resolution calling for total opposition to alcohol). Alcohol is the number one drug problem among teenagers. (1 Cor. 8:13; 9:19-22; 10:32-33). Because I am an example to others, I will make certain no one ever walks the road of sorrow called alcoholism because they saw me take a drink and assumed, “if it is alright for him it is alright for me.” No, I will choose to set an uncompromising example of abstinence because I love them.  I will seek my joy and filling in the Spirit not in alcohol. I love the Phillips translation of Ephesians 5:18 which reads, “Don’t get your stimulus from wine (for there is always the danger of excessive drinking), but let the Spirit stimulate your souls.” Psalm 4:7-8 adds, “You [O Lord] have put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound. In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.”  There is no record that Jesus drank strong drink,  As a pastor or church leader, would I demand abstinence for  leadership? Absolutely! The principle of Proverbs 31:4-5 is appropriately applied here, “It is not for Kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine, or for rulers to take strong drink, lest they drink and forget what has been decreed and pervert the rights of all the afflicted.” “
 
PM Stephen Harper the pretender evangelical as well.. is not the first time he wrongfully  gave alcoholic beverages to others, and what next?

Jesus himself had said that professing to be a Christian is not enough, and it applies now to a Prime Minister as well, one rather can  tell what a person is really like by what he does,  a True Christian is one who evidently is controlled by the Spirit of God and not by  self, sin, a real Christian is one where thus anyone can clearly see by the evidence of the fruit of the Holy Spirit, including even self control.

Alcoholics, wine drinkers, smokers, drug users too they all  tend to have evidentially lost their self control..

I have often rightfully said to many preachers I would rather see them first by example live the life of Christ instead of merely preaching it others.  Preaching the Gospel is not an valid alternative to living it.  I even do know People who profess to be Christians and they are Alcoholics too.. but they are not Christians… They fool themselves only as to who they still really are too.

By their own fruits Jesus said to us all you can tell what they are really like still.

If you took 2 martinis or 2 beers a day you are an alcoholic. Alcoholism is a crime and not a disease, it is a crime, it is just as lethal, bad, and it is really unacceptable as selling or taking bad drugs too. Canada’s  bad drug problem, drunk driving, alcoholism is increasing not just amongst the teens, but also in the work place, in the government now as well even amongst the civil and public servants. Most major home violence, car or truck accidents are still associated with alcohol now too and not speeding. It’s a fact that  drinking alcohol can seriously damage one’s health and cause permanent brain damage as well .Alcohol may lead to liver problems, a variety of cancers as well as forms of osteoporosis and depression, and studies are showing, too, that women are more susceptible to the ill effects of alcohol than are men. 
Not one cent of taxpayer’s money should be ever used in the governments, civil  and public servants, expense accounts  to buy alcohol, wine  or beer.

Impaired means  when Mental awareness, alertness and function do also come under a dulling, slowing effect. This hinders our mental ability in everyday activity and restricts or cuts off our mental fellowship with the Holy Spirit speaking to our mind from our spirit. A person who has the smoking or drinking habit, in honesty, must label themselves an “addict” too. in bondage to Satan and the flesh and the lust thereof. Alcoholism, Smoking, lying, stealing, slander  is demonic, which is why it is so hard to stop on your own and they all are  not compatible with the Christian experience.  These sinful  problems are next forcing negative consequences on other “innocent” people  Co-workers, family and even  children are victims .  Christians are definitely thus not to be “stumbling blocks” to others.  Matthew 18: 6, 7, “But who so shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depths of the sea. Woe unto the world because of offenses! For it must needs be that offenses come; but woe to that man by whom the offense cometh!”
 
Also smoking is “burning incense to other (demon) gods”. II Kings 22:17, II Kings 23:5; II Chronicles 28:25, 34:24, 34:25; Jeremiah 1:16, 7:9, 11:12, 19:4; Chapter 44, 48:35.
 
To receive complete freedom from these sinful  bondages, the Believer must see his “habit” or being “hooked” as a spiritually rooted problem and confess it as a deliberate sin of Disobedience to God too. Acknowledging lust, Alcohol, tobacco, cigarettes, drugs, lying, stealing, marijuana  and smoking as sin is prerequisite. Personal Confession of the sin according to (1 John 1:9 KJV)  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10   If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.and we all must choose to submit to God according to (James 4:7 KJV)  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8  Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9  Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10   Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

and whether Smoking it is legal or not legal basically is not the issue in the sight of God.. but when you clearly have lost self control,  it also alters your judgment and your ability to perceive reality. on top of that you now are a prisoner to a bad habit of smoking , the very clear source of the bad habit is the devil now as well and not God.. and if you cannot see this it is either cause you do not want to or are in false denial… Half of the world knows that smoking cigarettes even is bad for you, it is a vice, and  it causes cancer, linked to gum disease, destroys the body and you did not realize it was sinful? either you are lying to me, lying yourself others or you are being deliberate ignorant. Smoking is not without potential real negative consequences and yes anyone would be an absolute fool not to factor that truth now as well . One cannot honestly claim to be using alcohol, smoking or marijuana for any purpose other than to falsely intoxicate oneself. to lose self control. One is not getting you closer to God by being intoxicated , but moving you away from Him. You’re doing the weed for YOURSELF, serving the sinful sinful self, the flesh now in reality. You are to die to self, the flesh and all of it’s lust thereof  as a Christian now still too. The ends do not justify now the mans still as well.

and exposing it loudly in public as well as calling the police is the best way to deal with it for everyone's benefit, the abuser included.

Verbal abuse is a kind of battering which doesn’t leave evidence like physical abuse does. However, it can be just as painful, and recovery can take much longer. The victim of abuse lives in a gradually more confusing realm. In public she is with one man, in private he becomes another. Often, for the verbally abused woman (man), there is no witness to her reality and no one to understand her experiences. Friends and family continue to see her ex, the abuser, as a really good guy and, certainly, he agrees with them. The verbal abuser, while maintaining his charm with others, always takes his abuse behind closed doors. It is a means of holding power over his wife( husband) /partner.. Many women and some men leave a marriage and come back into the singles’ world with the diminished self-esteem that comes from a verbally abusive relationship. The fact that many of these women (men) have never even realized that they were being abused, makes it easy for them to enter another abusive relationship. A verbal abuser is an insecure person and immature person who is looking for power and control over another.In order to help you recognize abuse, remember that all forms of verbal abuse are methods of manipulating you for the purpose of establishing power over you. The following are some of the forms of verbal abuse the author helps you recognize.

  1. Withholding: a purposeful, silent treatment.
  2. Countering: a countering of your ideas, feelings, and perceptions, even going so far as to refute what he misconstrues you to have said.
  3. Discounting–a putdown of you or something you hold dear.
  4. Blocking and diverting–this is a sneaky, covert way of violating your dignity.
  5. Accusation and blame: generally involves lies about the partner’s intentions, attitudes, and motives. The author states that accusation and blame is present in all verbally abusive relationships.
  6. Judging and criticizing: lies about your personal qualities and performance.
  7. Trivializing and undermining: abusive behavior which makes light of your work, your efforts, your interests, or your concerns. The abuser attempts to dilute meaning and value in your life. Undermining might occur when your partner laughs at you, for example, when you burn yourself cooking. It is also jokes at your expense. Undermining is occurring when you feel a “so-called joke” is mean rather than funny.
  8. Name calling: no one has a right to call you degrading names. Name calling is verbal abuse.
  9. Ordering: Telling you to do something, rather than asking, or making decisions for you or for the two of you without your input.
  10. Forgetting and denial: the trickiest form of denial is forgetting. Become aware that forgetting is a form of denial that shifts all responsibility from the abuser to some “weakness of mind.”
  11. Abusive anger: this seems to be closely linked to the need to “blow up,” to dominate, to control, to go one up, and to put down. Any time you are snapped at or yelled at, you are being abused.
  12. Threatening: Physical threats and sexual threats aside, verbal threats are an effort at manipulation. For example, a threat to leave, stay out all night, or take you home immediately is a manipulation for power. The threat of “pending disaster” is designed to shatter the partner’s serenity as well as her boundaries.

    If you counter the abuser or attempt to explain yourself, you will probably be met with such statements as, “I don’t want to hear it, get out of my face” or “Woman you don’t have the brains“, “BYou shouldn’t have said that to me“.

    f you are in a brand-new relationship and see warning signs of verbal abuse, the author suggests you might be wise to let the relationship go. It is not likely that a man (woman) who needs to dominate and control will change easily, if at all. It is also likely that when the newness of the relationship wears off, he will become more abusive. Verbal abuse can become physical in time and physical abuse is always preceded by verbal abuse, according to Evans.If you are in a long-term relationship, you can respond to the abuser as the book suggests and soon discover for yourself whether or not your mate is willing to change and stop his abusive behavior.

    “If you have been verbally abused in your relationship, you may have discovered that explaining and trying to understand have not improved your relationship. Therefore, I recommend that you respond in a new way–a way that will make an emotional, psychological, and intellectual impact upon your mate.”

    The abuser in your relationship may change when he finds that you do know when you are being abused, that you have set limits, that you mean what you say, and that you will not take behavior you don’t like. 

    If the man ( or sadly too often now a women) in your relationship remains abusive, it is not only not your fault," but it is  your responsibility to deal with it, make it public, call the police too.

    Any person cannot still fight with you of you leave his or her presences, even forever.. and there is still a good life after a failed marriage now too. I practise what I preach and often now too.

    Hey if you read my many non conforming posts you will note that I definitely, and loudly, rightfully still  do not conform to the false or immoral demands of others..
     
    I was really now fortunate I had great teachers here in Canada, in my public school, in high School and in University in Montreal Quebec, and all of them now   had treated me as a real person, respected me, and allowed me to speak. and to be heard as well.

At work as a Professional Engineer, or as a Professional Realtor with Re/Max I was allowed continually as a responsible, a mature adult to make my own decisions,  and top also carry out my responsibilities in the manner   I chose to do them as well.
     
    So I have to admit it came to me as a shock firstly when I started to attend evangelical, Baptist Pentecostal churches in Canada now as an adult that that same right  to be respect, top speak, and to be heard, not to be bullied, falsely oppressed. Legal and Human rights that  I had before, often now did not exist in the churches surprisingly now of all places. Never saw so many control freaks, human rights abusers  in my whole life next to the too often bad cops now too.  And perversely many a despotic, crooked elder, pastor had wrongfully tried to shut me up, and even next had resorted next to slander me, to try to discredit me and what I had said,  or whatever,  now even both in Quebec and in Alberta.
     
    But like I have often said elsewhere the Evangelical church was not the only place where they tried to deny me my right to speak and to be heard now, for too often too and unacceptable the Alberta bullies, rednecks now  on the net had wrongfully tried often and falsely to suppress my right of free speech, but next so did not too many a Politician, particularly,  ironically again both the professing Christian ones, and the definitely alcoholic ones now too.. what they were falsely deluded that only politicians had the right of free speech and the right to be heard it seems too .
     
    Next too many bad police officers as well did not like me openly, publically complaining about the too often bad cops, bad RCMP had encountered in Alberta, Quebec, and not just the too many bad pastors, elders too, and in other provinces as well.. and what these bad  cops, bad watchdogs,  forget they are here to serve the good welfare of the citizens? for  they are not our despotic slave drivers.. nor are their bosses for that matter now too.
     
    Now what bothered them all now so much that they had tried to shut me up? my transparency, honesty, or it seems the mere exercise of  case of my rights . For in reality it seems at least 10 percent of the persons even on the net seem to be control freaks, bullies, human rights abusers.
     
    I often read complaints on the net from  some child complaining  that that one of their parents is verbally abusing them, or even a spouse complain that  their spouse is abusing them.  I have heard people tell me how pastors had abused them as well. Children and spouses sometimes are forced to put up with it?? But not me, for I am not a child, rather a matured adult, a retired senior in fact. And I can clearly, rightfully speak for myself and talk on any topic now as I so desire as well as we all can readily see and I do so now too. And for the good of us all now too.
     
     
    Beware always of men and women, bullies, tormentors, control freaks,  persons, civil and public servants,  politicians, pastors, leaders, elders, who falsely do, will try to enslave you, oppress you, exploit you even while they claim they are proclaiming the truth, democracy, trying to help you, etc.,
     
    Is 51:23 ..your tormentors {and} oppressors, those who said to you, Bow down, that we may ride {or} tread over you; and you have made your back like the ground and like the street for them to pass over.
     
     
    Here also is what I know for sure, the older the person is the more extreme, more severe, the more difficult the punishment has  to be on them to cause them to personally to change in their own  negative ways, for they are too set in them now too.    
 
Bashing Pentecostals Christians, evangelists,  on the net even by even the  fundamentals is a popular sport in the Roman coliseum it seems these days too
 
It even seems too many professing, evangelical,  Christians still think they can  lie about, slander, abuse others, other Christians on the enter and they can get away with it too, because the net is supposedly unregulated. and because if  their own right of free speech. Free speech is a right you still have to use wisely, But one can be sued for libel on the net still in Canada according to the Queen's courts, and this should applied now in Australia, Great Brian and other commonwealth countries now too. In Canada the RCMP certainly admits to monitoring the net.. While the Internet is in Canada unregulated by the government , the Police  courts still do regulate internet abuse. CP    VANCOUVER - A B.C. Supreme Court judge has awarded an Australian man  $180,000 for being the brunt of an Internet tirade conducted by a Nanaimo,  B.C., man.  The case involved the thorny question of how to crack down on  the lawlessness of online libel and slander.  Justice Douglas Halfyard  concluded defamatory statements along with the worldwide exposure of Robert  Griffin’s identity had serious and adverse effects on Griffin’s life and  mental health.  In his judgment, Halfyard found Patrick Sullivan responsible  for publishing four years of false and defamatory statements accusing “that  the plaintiff is a stalker, abuser, harasser, criminal, evil, liar, killer,  sexual predator, pervert, pedophile, coward, manipulator and hate monger who  threatens others with death and violence … and deserves to be jailed and  killed.”  Griffin’s lawyer Dan Burnett said most people don’t have the money  or stamina to fight against those kind of relentless Internet accusations.  “He felt it had to stop and the only way it was going to stop was to do what  he did which was commence the action and seek damages and seek an injunction  and essentially stand up to the bully.”  Burnett said the court award and  subsequent injunction stopping Sullivan from writing anything more about his  client is a warning to other Internet users.  “It illustrates that there is  a line, that when crossed, puts you into court and is a breach of the law.”  The whole situation started with postings on the Internet suicide website  ASH, in which participants discuss suicide and depression.  Griffin became  embroiled in a vicious dispute with several of the members of ASH, including  Sullivan.  The situation escalated when Sullivan published personal  information, such as Griffin’s age, his real name and the fact he lived in  Sydney, Australia. Griffin had been using the name Magnus Pym.  “I have  found that the defendant was, in many instances, indifferent to the truth of  the statements he was making,” Halfyard wrote of Sullivan.  “That is malice  and that is an aggravating factor.”  Included in the $180,000 award is  $50,000 for aggravated damages because Halfyard said the facts “demonstrate  that the defendant was motivated by an unjustifiable intention to injure the  plaintiff.”  Griffin has also been awarded $25,000 for breach of his privacy   and almost $5,000 for expenses which included psychological treatment and  counselling, and payment for interpreting services required to investigate postings on the Internet in Russia.  Sullivan, who acted as his own lawyer,  claimed some of the accusations were true, he raised the defence of fair  comment and also denied making some of the statements.  Sullivan could not  be reached for comment.  Halfyard didn’t agree with the arguments.  “The  defendant failed to prove that any of his many other defamatory statements  about the plaintiff were true. The defence of justification fails.”  Burnett  said the sweeping injunction is especially significant because it forces  Sullivan to stop referring in any way to Griffin and to remove all of his  ranting from the Internet.  “That’s in an Internet world where we think of  things going up and being irretrievable. Canada's  Supreme Court throws out libel case against outspoken B.C. talk show host   VANCOUVER — The country's top court has absolved former Vancouver radio personality Rafe Mair of defamation for a commentary.   The Supreme Court of Canada decision in the defamation suit also broadened a key defence often used by journalists to ward off libel actions. In a 9-0 judgment Friday, the Supreme Court of Canada ruled that Mair was engaging in fair comment in the 1999 radio editorial that was critical of Kari Simpson, a high-profile player in a campaign opposing the use of teaching materials about gay lifestyles in local schools. In the course of the editorial, the controversial former radio commentator made references to the Klan, Hitler and skinheads, although he claimed he wasn't saying that Simpson actually advocated violence against gays. The judge went on, however, to say that Mair wasn't liable for damages because he held an honest belief in the views he expressed - one of the traditional elements in the legal defence long known as fair comment. The Supreme Court, in Friday's judgment   went on to rewrite the legal test for such a defence.  There was no proof that Mair's dominant motive was personal malice,   and thus "his expression of opinion, however, exaggerated, was protected by the law. "We live in a free country where people have as much right to express outrageous and ridiculous opinions as moderate ones." A key component of the fair comment defence has long been that the person making the comment must sincerely believe in it. In the course of the ruling, however, the high court modified that test. Commentary must still have a factual basis, be made without malice and be in the public interest, said Binnie. But the test of honest belief is not whether the specific person holding the opinion believed it. The yardstick is whether any person might honestly hold the view based on the facts at issue. Binnie acknowledged that is "not a high threshold" for any defendant to met. But neither is it appropriate to rule out "a piece of devil's advocacy" in any debate on a matter of public importance.  Mair, who no longer works at the station, said he's glad they took the case to the high court. Too many people  still do believe in their own sole right of free speech still but they  do next try to deny these same right of others by even threatening to sue them for libel, slander.. sound Familiar Mr Stephen Harper PM of Canada? or Bell Sympatico? or the Toronto Airport Fellowship Church pastors? Benny Hynn? etc.,'

The pastors of the Toronto airport fellowship Church and many other pastors, Christians groups on the net  had asked me in writing not to write to them, and what they can preach about the sins of others but I can’t do that to them? What hypocrisy on their parts now still too.  Even in the churches, evangelical pastoral sections there are much too many really bad unacceptable apples still out there. Too often now our personal rights in this country are now slowly being forcibly demanded to ne sidetracked to accommodate others wishes … Imagine what Canada would be like if any of the church pastors, government forcibly told the citizens, the columnists, editors, commentators what they could and could not publish. Imagine if we had something like a Ministry of Truth, a Ministry of the Media, a Ministry of Thought. If that doesn’t scare you then you rightfully  scare me. These bullying groups appear to be using any angle within the law, courts,  or their influence to try and become our ’superiors’ in some way. It’s about time that truths that are unpalatable to certain sections of our society be allowed to be expressed. We live in a free country, with the right to freedom of expression and speech. Telling the facts does not constitute a ‘hate’ crime now as well. Only those people who want to curtail or own freedoms while they use theirs  would call this a hate crime. If these various groups or people cannot tolerate anyone’s free speech, or debate, why in the world are they living in the west?  If you don’t like the freedoms that are enjoyed by ALL citizens here, then go live in a country where theirs and your freedom  now is denied.  Without freedom of speech, and the freedom of the press we can no longer claim to be a democratic country. No one has the right to stifle the free dispensing of valuable information. Not even Evangelical pastors.  We must all be be vigilant against any attempts of demonic enslavement of us and the  false hindrances of our own rights.  “Those that try to silence honest, open, and free speech are a danger to this country. Now in Canada even  I am very used to people the much too many Bullies who  try to falsely dominate you, and these bullies go overboard in their reactions when you expose the truth about them and others  especially when their pet idols, or careers are threatened.  Me I am still rightfully actively resistant  to all of the  abusers, bullies, liars, even to the Church, GOVERNMENTAL, CORPORATE, POLICE  oppressions still too. Even those persons who falsely try to send lawyers or the police to my home to harass me, to try to intimidate me, to shut me up. I clearly do believe in the right of everyone to speak, to speak out as well,  and to be equally heard by all, so we can all judge what has been said if it is appropriate and we can next corresponding act upon it, even in the church, in the government, on the Internet now too. Clearly some people falsely DO DISALLOW THIS RIGHT... the bad persons especially as even I know this for sure. They respond with a personal attack, inquisition, censorship, lies, slanders, diversions, distortions, instead of facing, dealing with the facts, truths being presented. Confirming to many what they still are really like, immoral, abusive bullies.

Mind you the same radio station did not like all the bad publicity they got and the radio personality next lost his job anyway.

Anyway all Christians are governed by higher laws even that of showing  love to others, meekness too, humility and purity too... not just whether they can be sued for libel, slander..

Now too often I myself also do not agree with the comments,  free speech, but I merely  tend to disregard it it next..

but what I do rightfully oppose still any and all free speech  especially on the so called Christian Churches Internet sites, that is   lying, slanderous, insulting, abusive, bullying, bashing.. such as the false bash of Pentecostals by the Brethren, Baptists, Reformed, etc., haters. Or the supposedly evangelical Baptist pastor who had said in the pulpit that he could not understand what Hitler did that was so bad, I helped to fire him , he now sells life insurance instead..

( I heard a Muslim recently say the same thing to me, and so I asked him what he thought next if I will post a cartoon with the picture of his so called prophet saying the same thing.. he next quickly got red and objected to it..)

and even here now we all do still have 2 alternatives.. we can post our rebuttal, objections on their Internet site our ours

or next even take the matter  further to the news media, or  before the provincial Human Right Commissions, and others too..

not all justice is handled in the courts of Law or by a lawsuit.


I am also fascinated as to how I can make the same post and get contrasting different responses to it..
