Intro - Christianity and the Bible
Ezekiel
34:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 Son of man,
prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus
saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that
do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? 3 Ye eat
the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye
feed not the flock. 4 The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither
have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was
broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have
ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled
them. 5 And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they
became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered. 6
My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my
flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or
seek after them.
I too would
like to see more Christians posting being BIBLICAL, too see more valid
Christian Content on the Internet as well, but I too would firstly like to see
90 percent of the present mostly Christian lies, junk, distortions, unBiblical
material there firstly and rightfully erased.
I also do
honestly do not believe that many Christian persons do actually listen to the
Holy Spirit today, not from the mostly still poor so called Christian Internet
sites that I have mostly encountered still. Many people also do still
write so Called Christian Material to be admired by others, to convince
themselves of the lies they believe in, to get the false praises of others, to
falsely make themselves look important, to steal money from others,
etc.. but not too often do they present the whole
truth.
There are many so called Christian writers, almost all of them
who do even write about things they do not know or understand, that
includes the Christian, Biblical, spiritual topics.
Choose any Christian
topic on the Internet and you will get completely opposite,
contradictory point of views, even topics like prayer, healing,
miracles, spiritual gifts, pastors, elders, apostles, and both AUTHORS
NOW also claiming they speak for God, that they have the right view and that
they are Christians too.
SOME OF THE BIGGEST LIARS ARE EVEN THOSE MANY SITES CLAIMING TO BE THE
SOLE RIGHT, PERFECT CHRISTIAN CHURCH TOO.
To me it is really unbelievable but there really is not too much good
Christian, Bible study material available now on the Internet or in books too.
The devil really has been busy posting tares, garbage, lies there too. I
often cannot believe all the garbage mostly that is being passed on as
truth on the Internet. There are some sincere Christian Internet sites, but
much of the Bible study material posted is not worth looking at never mind
also reading it. Why? It seems the authors write to please others, they copy
other people's words, ideas, thoughts and write to get other's
approval.. in other words they are mostly men pleasers. To me it is actually
stressful to read any of this material. I next am like a teacher
correcting the term papers by comparing them to what the Bible actually says .
Next I do rather have to correct them, to rewrite them, cause they are
full of major errors, lies, distortions AND I OFTEN wonder how the others can
even firstly read them.
The Bible firstly is an introductory History of Jesus and about
his Church. The whole Bible is firstly now a book about the
personal Salvation of all mankind, both Jew and gentile through Jesus Christ,
and about the Church itself, the only body of Christ, of God. The Bible is not
a detailed History book of the nation of Israel as some would let us to
wrongfully believe or of how it Israel is supposedly the only important thing
today.
Secondly we have to be aware that men in
their writings, preachings do still too often lie, twist the Bible to suit
their own false preferences, agendas, including the Book of
Revelation.. If we need help to understand the Bible we need to
read it itself, and not just to listen to what others say it says, and we can,
and should ask Jesus still to show us the truth. I do and
often!
I was mediating
again on the many truths, as opposed to the evangelical and pentacostal lies
that I have learned the last 40 years, I was also contemplating
specifically on some of the most dangerous heresies, of much too many as well
being presented today, even in the in the Christian churches... these
included
-
1) We will not reap
what we sow here on earth as well.
-
2) The gifts and
offices of the Holy Spirit to the church have mostly ceased
-
3) The
distortions about who Israel is, the Judiazers, part of the too
many Jewish liars.. even the Messianic Jews. The Messianic Jews, those who want to hold on to their Jewish Culture
and still be called Christians. Those to ashamed to be identified as
"Christians" not messianic Jews, and to call Jesus by his name Jesus
Christ. All those persons who distort even who Jesus
Christ was and what he has done next too. Those who wrongfully say that All
Jews will be saved unlike all the gentiles who all will not be saved.
-
4) God alone deals here on earth with
any of the bad, crooked pastors, and not any of the Godly
elders
And
what does the Bible actually say.. about even entering into Heaven
firstly
(Mat 22:2
KJV) The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a
marriage for his son, 3 And sent forth his servants to call them that
were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. 4 Again, he sent
forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have
prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are
ready: come unto the marriage. 5 But they made light of it, and went
their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: 6 And the
remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his
armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8 Then
saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden
were not worthy. 9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye
shall find, bid to the marriage. 10 So those servants went out into the
highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good:
and the wedding was furnished with guests. 11 And when the king came in
to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a
wedding garment? And he was speechless. 13 Then said the king to
the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into
outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 14 For
many are called, but few are chosen.
(Rom 3:29
KJV) Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles?
Yes, of the Gentiles also:
(Gal 3:22
KJV) But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by
faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
(Gal 3:24
KJV) Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ,
that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we
are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26 For ye are all the children of
God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been
baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor
Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for
ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Jesus said we will be persecuted if we preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and all of it's truths. Maybe that is why some preachers tell the lies rather, not to get personally persecuted. If you
and I will preach the truth even that all of the Jewish persons as well
must accept their personal salvation by faith only through Jesus Christ or they will
personally go to hell, then you and I will be hated, abused by them today in the
same manner apostle Paul was. (2 Cor 11:24 KJV) Of the Jews five times
received I forty stripes save one.
(Gal 3:16
KJV) Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not,
And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is
Christ.
(Gal 3:6
KJV) Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for
righteousness. 7 Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the
same are the children of Abraham. 8 And the scripture, foreseeing that
God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto
Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. 9 So then they
which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. 10 For as many as are of
the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every
one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law
to do them. 11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of
God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. 12 And the law is
not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13 Christ hath
redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is
written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing
of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might
receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Clearly
not all of the Jewish persons entered the promise land, thus not all of the Jewish
persons will be saved, only a remnant of them.
(Rom 9:27
KJV) Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the
children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be
saved:
(Rom 9:30
KJV) What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after
righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is
of faith. 31 But Israel, which followed
after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the
works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; 33 As it is
written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and
whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
(Rom 10:3 KJV) For they being
ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own
righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of
God.
(Rom 11:1 KJV) I say then, Hath
God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed
of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God hath not cast away his
people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he
maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, 3 Lord, they have
killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and
they seek my life. 4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have
reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the
image of Baal. 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a
remnant according to the election of grace. 6 And if by grace, then is
it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works,
then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
(Mat 3:9
KJV) And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our
father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up
children unto Abraham.10 And now also the ax is laid unto the root of
the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn
down, and cast into the fire. (Mat
8:11 KJV) And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and
west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of
heaven.12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer
darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Luke 16:23 KJV) And in hell he lift up his eyes,
being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his
bosom. 24 And he cried and said,
Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of
his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst
thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted,
and thou art tormented. 26 And beside all this, between us and you there
is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot;
neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27 Then he
said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my
father's house: 28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto
them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29 Abraham
saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30
And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead,
they will repent. 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and
the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
I still
though got bad news for them, those who lies about a special separate place,
future dispensation from Hell for all of the Jews. The
physical sons of Abraham were seen already in Hell as the above passage has
indicated.
Yes though all of the people, Jews
and Gentile, ordained from the foundation of the earth to be saved will
be saved.
Someone now even had wrongfully, lyingly
accused me of not liking the Book of Revelation. I love the Book of
Revelation. One of my favorite book too. It speaks of the different types of
Churches, some good and some clearly bad, and it also does soeak oof Heaven
and of the real earthly Judgments coming next too.
I too though get rightfully really tired even
of all the fundamental bad preachers even from the Dallas Theological cemetery
who distort the passages in this Book, teaching falsely a future construction
of a Jewish temple is God's will, will be next
forthcoming...
The too often false Dispensational theology
presented lyingly as the truth elsehwere presents now even the book of
Revelation as well as being mostly about the nation, people of
Israel since Jesus was born through the Jewish race..
but dispensationalists they too are just more false judiazers who
do wrongfully hate Jesus Christ, and what he fully stands for, what
he Jesus now really did, and who he Jesus really is.
Jesus, the Messiah, is
the savior of all mankind, Jew and gentile and not just the
Jews.
Some people still wrongfully do want to
rewrite the Bible and make special provisions of the salvation of all of the
Jews .. they can't. What is in the Bible is final. Only in Christ
shall all be made alive,
(1 Cor 15:22 KJV) For as in Adam all
die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.(2 Cor 1:21 KJV) Now he
which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;(2 Cor
2:17 KJV) For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as
of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. (2
Cor 5:17 KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:
old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.18 And all
things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath
given to us the ministry of reconciliation;19 To wit, that God was in
Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto
them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
NO WONDER APOSTLE PAUL WAS SO DISLIKED BY THE JEWS AND
JUDIAZERS TOO FOR HE WAS NOT PREACHING ABOUT THE FALSE IMPORTANCE OF THE
JEWISH FAITH BUT ABOUT THE NEW FULLER REVELATION OF JESUS THE
MESSIAH.
(2 Cor 11:3 KJV) But I fear, lest by any
means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should
be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. (Gal 6:15 KJV) For
in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision,
but a new creature. (Eph 2:13 KJV) But now in Christ Jesus ye who
sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.14 For he is our
peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of
partition between us;15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law
of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one
new man, so making peace;16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in
one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:17 And came and
preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.(Gal
3:28 KJV) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor
free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ
Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and
heirs according to the promise.
Again
Who Is Israel? Christians!
Num
14:23-24 Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers,
neither shall any of them that provoked me see it: But my servant Caleb,
because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I
bring into the land where into he went; and his seed shall possess it.
"Twelve spies went into the land which God had promised,
you know the story, ten had evil reports and two had good reports.
Joshua and Caleb had the good report; however, notice Joshua is not included
in this promise (in the above scripture) even though he was also one with a
good report. Each spy was a ruler; each man represented one of the
tribes of Israel. This promise of “the seed possessing” simply
prophesies of Jesus. Caleb represented the tribe of Judah. Yet the
scriptures teach that Caleb was not 100% Judah lineage, he was also a
Kennizzite, which was a descendant of Esau. Why is this important?
Because the “SEED” that shall possess the promise land has nothing to do with
natural heritage; it refers to ONLY Christ Jesus. It is totally
EXCLUSIVE to one Seed and yet it is totally INCLUSIVE to all mankind.
Paul saw this truth and therefore gave us our present day terminology – “IN
CHRIST.” Caleb did inherit the physical land that was promised, but God
was also speaking of a future land to be inherited by those who are in Christ
– THE CHURCH. Just as sure, just as much, a reality it was when Caleb
settled in that land that was promised, you could be as sure that it pointed
to the land that we shall settle in as well – eternal life. Caleb’s
lineage is important for one reason – to become a type of a mixed people made
up of Jew and Greek, and both to become inheritors of the Promise,
equally. Caleb was an entity comprised of Jew and Greek."
Apostle
Paul was quite plain in his speaking concerning natural Israel and therefore
it would seem there could not be any controversy concerning natural Israel’s
role in the church, and in the last generation; but unfortunately today, there
is a false and great controversy. The controversy exist
because of the failure of all persons to diligently seek, the New
Testament, Jesus as our only truth and life, and rather many have
believed the false words of men who really still do not know or understand
God’s plans, purposes and the New testament.
The end-time theology of many is wrong because
they did not lay the right foundation based on Jesus, the New Testament
teaching and that is still what needed to understand fully - end-time
prophecy as well. After all prophecy is about Jesus. (Rev 19:10 KJV) And
I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I
am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus:
worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of
prophecy.
Apostle
Paul made it quite simple, Israel now is composed of the saved, separated Jew
AND Greek, all together comprising God’s great secret, mystery, the body, the
Church of Jesus Christ.
Paul
calls both the Jew and the Greek – branches where Jesus is the Vine. One
is a natural branch and the other is a wild olive branch. The
natural branch was cast off and It is through faith in Jesus, not by
natural birthright, not by the way of Cain or Esau are re- attached to the
vine, to Jesus likewise Gentile were and are grafted in by faith. So,
what we have now is natural Israel branches grafted alongside wild olive
branches that were grafted. One has NO INHERITANCE over the other
because ALL are fellow heirs with Christ. Christ is the sole head.
Neither of these separately is called spiritual Israel in scripture!
Neither is the heir to the promise! Neither is the true Israel!
Christ ALONE and his body,
the church is the SPIRITUAL ISRAEL; He is the ONLY Heir according to
promise and He is the TRUE ISRAEL! As a natural Jew, you
must receive and hold this new wine in a new wineskin. The new wineskin
is God’s new way of doing things –through Jesus, and you must to abide
in Jesus, and still be grafted, to get to heaven to be with God.. The old Jewish wineskin was
discarded, it was because Jesus fulfilled all that it represented. Jesus
was the Promise, He is the Promised Land, He is the final and ultimate
Sacrifice, He is the Temple, and He is Israel. The feasts, the Sabbaths,
and all rituals all had only pointed to Him, and they have no continuation of
them now, even beyond Him – He is the past, present, future stopping point.
A
life in Christ far surpasses the manner of living that can be achieved by the
Law.
When
you are in Christ you are IN SPIRITUAL ISRAEL. God did not plan for any
dual plan, or a dual promise of Salvation; Salvation is all totally exclusive
to Jesus.
"When the Bible talks about Israel, or about the Jew in
relationship to promise, it is written about , to ONE PERSON –
Jesus. It prophesies to One Person – Jesus! When the first animal
was slain to cover Adam and Eve, it prophesied of Jesus. Every animal
sacrificed afterwards, pointed over and over and over again, to Jesus the
sacrifice. Every time an animal was sacrificed, it was a prophecy that
speaks of a sacrifice to come. Likewise, each natural Jew that was born,
pointed over and over and over again to Jesus – the Heir of the promise.
Every Hebrew child that was circumcised was a prophecy of Him Who would have
His flesh torn, to spill His Own blood to the cursed ground. The
prophecy pointed to Jesus, and Jesus fulfilled the prophecy. Those IN
JESUS are co-heirs, they identify with the Seed, because of grafting, not
because of the law, or natural birth. God has still cast the Jews off;
they will never grow out of the vine again, period, ever, UNLESS the Jew will
place faith in Jesus Christ. If the Jew places faith in Jesus then he
becomes one who is in Spiritual Israel and therefore shares in the inheritance
of the Son, as all do. If he rejects Jesus, if He will not abide in
Jesus, he is then “in spiritual gentile” and not “in Spiritual
Israel.” What God intended, intends still s is this, the last days
Church is a two-winged church, saved Jew and saved Greek, ONE in the
Holy Spirit. "
These
false biblical misinterpreters, the Judiazers and the dispensationalists,
who deny the supremacy of Christ and his finished work for all, do also
take isolated Bible verses out of their actual contact and twist the
truth too. (Luke 11:50 KJV) That the blood of all the prophets, which
was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this
generation;
We
rightfully sing all Glory, Honour, power and strength to the Lord Jesus and
his only and finished work for all of us, both Jew and gentile.
(Rev
22:18 KJV) For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the
prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add
unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall
take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his
part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things
which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things
saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
For
example: " Revelation 12 speaks of a woman who gives birth to
a man child, and a dragon that seeks to devour the child. The man child is
caught up to God and His throne. When the dragon fails at devouring the child,
he pursues the woman. Who is this woman in heaven? Who is the dragon?
Let's begin with what we are told. The dragon is stated to be “that old
serpent called the Devil”. (12:9) So the dragon is symbolic of Satan. By this
it is established that the characters in this account are symbolic. Given that
the man child “was to rule all nations with a rod of iron” – a reference to
Jesus - forces us to conclude that this man child is Jesus. Satan endeavors to
destroy the “man child” brought forth by the woman. According to the gospel
writers Satan did indeed try to destroy Jesus at His birth.
Who
then is the woman? Who is the man child the woman gives birth to? " The
answer is defined in (17 ) "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and
went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of
God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ." The women and her seed have the
testimony of Jesus Christ.. so clearly this now leaves out the mostly
unsaved Jews, Israel as the false dispensationalist would
wrongfully have us to believe and thus still only includes the Church,
the sole bride of Jesus Christ, of God.
If
people would read the Bible instead of reading into it they would not be so
easily deceived as well.
Revelation is a New Testament book, therefore its
symbolism too must be seen in the light of other New Testament verses,
definitions firstly as well!
(Rev 12:1 KJV) And there appeared a great wonder in
heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon
her head a crown of twelve stars:
( (Eph 2:20 KJV) And are built upon the
foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief
corner stone;21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth
unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for
an habitation of God through the Spirit. (Mat 25:34 KJV) Then
shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father,
inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:(John
17:24 KJV) Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be
with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me:
for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.(1 Cor 3:11 KJV)
For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus
Christ.(Eph 1:4 KJV) According as he hath chosen us in him before the
foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him
in love:) The woman thus clearly is the Church.
(Rev
12:2 KJV) And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to
be delivered.
((John
16:21 KJV) A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour
is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more
the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world. (Gal 4:19 KJV)
My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in
you, (1 Th 2:9 KJV) For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail:
for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of
you, we preached unto you the gospel of God. (2 Th 3:8 KJV)
Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and
travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:) The
Church is still travailing in birth.
(Rev
12:3 KJV) And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a
great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his
heads.
4 And his tail drew the third part of the
stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before
the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as
it was born. 5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all
nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his
throne. 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place
prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and
threescore days. 7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels
fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And
prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. 9 And
the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan,
which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his
angels were cast out with him. 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in
heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and
the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which
accused them before our God day and night. 11 And they overcame him by
the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not
their lives unto the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye
that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the
devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he
hath but a short time. 13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto
the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. 14
And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly
into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and
times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. 15 And the serpent
cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause
her to be carried away of the flood. 16 And the earth helped the woman,
and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon
cast out of his mouth. 17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and
went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of
God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Note
seed is also singular, o n e s e e d, and not plural
as some false theologians would have us wrongfully to
believe..
(Gal
3:16 KJV) Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith
not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is
Christ.
(Mat
13:19 KJV) When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and
understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which
was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way
side.
(Mat
13:20 KJV) But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is
he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
(Mat
13:22 KJV) He also that received seed among the thorns is he that
heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches,
choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
(Mat
13:23 KJV) But he that received seed into the good ground is he that
heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth
forth, some an hundred fold, some sixty, some thirty.
(Mat
13:24 KJV) Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom
of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:25
But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went
his way. 26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit,
then appeared the tares also. 27 So the servants of the householder came
and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence
then hath it tares? 28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The
servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 29
But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat
with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time
of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and
bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
(Mat
13:31 KJV) Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom
of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in
his field:
(Mat
13:37 KJV) He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed
is the Son of man;
(Mat
13:38 KJV) The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the
kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
(John
7:42 KJV) Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of
David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?
(John
8:33 KJV) They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in
bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? (John 8:37
KJV) I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because
my word hath no place in you.
(Rom
9:7 KJV) Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all
children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
(Rom
9:8 KJV) That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are
not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the
seed.
(Gal
3:19 KJV) Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of
transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it
was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
(Gal
3:29 KJV) And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs
according to the promise.
(2 Tim
2:8 KJV) Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from
the dead according to my gospel:
(1 Pet
1:23 KJV) Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of
incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for
ever.
(1 John
3:9 KJV) Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed
remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
(2 Cor
11:3 KJV) But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve
through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity
that is in Christ.
(2 Cor
11:4 KJV) For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have
not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or
another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with
him.
I
do get really upset that too many, most Christian persons read and study
books, listen and watch tapes, go to Church but still daily do not read the
Bible for themselves..
(1 Cor 15:3 KJV) For I delivered unto
you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins
according to the scriptures;
(1 Cor 15:4 KJV) And that he was buried,
and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
(Mat 21:42 KJV) Jesus saith unto them,
Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected,
the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is
marvellous in our eyes?
(Mat 22:29 KJV) Jesus answered and said
unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of
God.
(Mat 26:54 KJV) But how then shall the
scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?
(Mat 26:56 KJV) But all this was done,
that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples
forsook him, and fled.
(Mark 14:49 KJV) I was daily with you in
the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be
fulfilled.
(Luke 24:27 KJV) And beginning at Moses
and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things
concerning himself.
(Luke 24:32 KJV) And they said one to
another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way,
and while he opened to us the scriptures?
(Luke 24:45 KJV) Then opened he their
understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
(John 5:39 KJV) Search the scriptures;
for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of
me.
(Acts 17:2 KJV) And Paul, as his manner
was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the
scriptures,
(Acts 17:11 KJV) These were more noble
than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness
of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were
so.
(Acts 18:24 KJV) And a certain Jew named
Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures,
came to Ephesus.
(Acts 18:28 KJV) For he mightily
convinced the Jews, and that publicly, showing by the scriptures that Jesus
was Christ.
(Rom 15:4 KJV) For whatsoever things
were written a fore time were written for our learning, that we through
patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
(Rom 16:26 KJV) But now is made
manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment
of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of
faith:
(Psa 17:7 KJV) Show thy marvellous
loving kindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their
trust in thee from those that rise up against them.
(Psa 26:3 KJV) For thy loving kindness
is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.
(Psa 36:7 KJV) How excellent is thy
loving kindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under
the shadow of thy wings.
(Psa 36:10 KJV) O continue thy loving
kindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in
heart.
(Psa 40:10 KJV) I have not hid thy
righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy
salvation: I have not concealed thy loving kindness and thy truth from the
great congregation.
(Psa 40:11 KJV) Withhold not thou thy
tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy loving kindness and thy truth
continually preserve me.
(Psa 42:8 KJV) Yet the LORD will command
his loving kindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with
me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.
(Psa 48:9 KJV) We have thought of thy
loving kindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple.
(Psa 51:1 KJV) To the chief Musician, A
Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to
Bathsheba. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving kindness:
according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my
transgressions.
(Psa 63:3 KJV) Because thy loving
kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
(Psa 69:16 KJV) Hear me, O LORD; for thy
loving kindness is good: turn unto me according to the multitude of thy tender
mercies.
(Psa 88:11 KJV) Shall thy loving
kindness be declared in the grave? or thy faithfulness in
destruction?
(Psa 89:33 KJV) Nevertheless my loving
kindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to
fail.
(Psa 92:2 KJV) To show forth thy loving
kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,
(Psa 103:4 KJV) Who redeemeth thy life
from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender
mercies;
(Psa 107:43 KJV) Whoso is wise, and will
observe these things, even they shall understand the loving kindness of the
LORD.
(Psa 119:88 KJV) Quicken me after thy
loving kindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.
(Psa 119:149 KJV) Hear my voice
according unto thy loving kindness: O LORD, quicken me according to thy
judgment.
(Psa 119:159 KJV) Consider how I love
thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy loving
kindness.
(Psa 138:2 KJV) I will worship toward
thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving kindness and for thy
truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
(Psa 143:8 KJV) Cause me to hear thy
loving kindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the
way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
(Jer 9:24 KJV) But let him that glorieth
glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which
exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in
these things I delight, saith the LORD.
(Jer 16:5 KJV) For thus saith the LORD,
Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them:
for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the LORD, even loving
kindness and mercies.
(Jer 31:3 KJV) The LORD hath appeared of
old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love:
therefore with loving kindness have I drawn thee.
(Jer 32:18 KJV) Thou showest loving
kindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the
bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of
hosts, is his name,
(Hosea 2:19 KJV) And I will betroth thee
unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in
judgment, and in loving kindness, and in mercies.
(Psalm
119:88 KJV) Quicken me after thy loving kindness; so shall I keep the
testimony of thy mouth.
(Psa
71:20 KJV) Thou, which hast showed me great and sore troubles, shalt
quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the
earth.
(Psa
80:18 KJV) So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will
call upon thy name.
(Psa
119:25 KJV) My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me
according to thy word.
(Psa
119:37 KJV) Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou
me in thy way.
(Psa
119:40 KJV) Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: quicken me in thy
righteousness.
(Psa
119:107 KJV) I am afflicted very much: quicken me, O LORD, according
unto thy word.
(Psa
119:149 KJV) Hear my voice according unto thy loving kindness: O LORD,
quicken me according to thy judgment.
(Psa
119:154 KJV) Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy
word.
(Psa
119:156 KJV) Great are thy tender mercies, O LORD: quicken me according
to thy judgments.
(Psa
104:33 KJV) I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing
praise to my God while I have my being.
(Exo 15:1 KJV) Then sang Moses and the
children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing
unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath
he thrown into the sea.
(Judg 5:3 KJV) Hear, O ye kings; give
ear, O ye princes; I, even I, will sing unto the LORD; I will sing praise to
the LORD God of Israel.
(Psa 13:6 KJV) I will sing unto the
LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
(Psa 7:17 KJV) I will praise the LORD
according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD
most high.
(Psa 9:2 KJV) I will be glad and rejoice
in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
Well I have also faced death many, many times
and God let me live instead.....
(Psa 116:2 KJV) Because he hath inclined
his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. 3 The
sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found
trouble and sorrow. 4 Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I
beseech thee, deliver my soul. 5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous;
yea, our God is merciful. 6 The LORD preserveth the simple: I was
brought low, and he helped me. 7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for
the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee. 8 For thou hast delivered my
soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. 9 I
will walk before the LORD in the land of the living. 10 I believed,
therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted: 11 I said in my haste,
All men are liars. 12 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his
benefits toward me? 13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon
the name of the LORD. 14 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the
presence of all his people. 15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the
death of his saints. 16 O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy
servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds. 17 I
will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name
of the LORD. 18 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of
all his people, 19 In the courts of the Lord's house, in the midst of
thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
(Psa 109:4 KJV) For my love they are my
adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.
(Psa 109:5 KJV) And they have rewarded
me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
The lack of love is clearly obvious everywhere
in our world today.. nevertheless it does not stop us personally from loving
others, and receiving God's love still too.
(John 15:9 KJV) As the Father hath loved
me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
(John 15:10 KJV) If ye keep my
commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's
commandments, and abide in his love.
(1 Cor 16:24 KJV) My love be with you
all in Christ Jesus. Amen.
Sadly
the Jewish issue is part of the biggest religious deceptions we do face in
life, and this now has been true now for thousand of years where the
Jewish people have lied about the importance of their Judaic
religion daily to us and they also have lied about the facts of
Christianity as well to others.
But the Jewish issue is not the only deception that
Christians face. The devil continually tries to make every person and all
Christians to turn their away from God's truths and God
Himself.
An Internet site today tries to promote Peace
and Economic liaison with persons of the Christian faith and the nation
of Israel and it has now still posted there this lie.. "The purpose of these articles is not to convince
Christians to adopt Jewish faith and practice but to understand the
foundations of Judaism which is the basis of Christianity."
This latter statement is very subtle but is still a very blatant
lie.. for in reality the basis of Christianity was not , and is not Judaism,
but Jesus, even my own personal values are not at all based on my father's own
past religious or cultural values... I personally have chosen my
own religion that I follow after.. the Christian One.
Unfortunately we need to understand, to be familiar with
the major religions when we do also try to deal with people, governments,
politicians in Canada and world wide.
All
Jewish people, Hindu or Islamic should have the right to make their own
choice, to practice their own religion even how they do see fit to do it
anywhere in the world, to live in peace and safety now as well.. sadly too
often that is not the case.. especially not in Islamic Counties, or in
Israel.
But
make no mistake about it Christianity is a unique religion, it is even clearly
unique from the Jewish faith. It is not at all related even to the Muslim
faith. Jesus uniquely also promises instant forgiveness and the assurance of
forgiveness for all of your past sins,
Christianity is a break away religion from Judaism...
Jews at the time of Jesus Christ living here on earth they left their old
faith to follow a new faith based on Jesus.. and even today most of the
Jews they have openly rejected Jesus, for they could not accept Jesus new
means of salvation that was available for everyone, Jew and gentile, the Jews
they had wanted and still do want to keep their old false Judaic religion and
they wanted to have their own Nation too.
The sole basis of the Christian faith, which
is why it is also called the New Testament as well is not at
all the Old Testament Judaism but the New testament Jesus.. The true
Christians next always left their Jewish Synagogues all together... and all
Christian Jews, Messianic Jews too need to do this today as well, also
supposed to give up their Jewish roots, Jewish culture, Jewish religion
when they accept Jesus Christ as their master, lord and savior .
Jesus himself now also did not come at all
also to establish or to restore a Nation of Israel, but to save from hell all
of the people, the Jews now included.
Note also this biblical fact unlike in the New
Testament the persons in the Old Testament were not told to convert
anyone to Judaism because their religion was yet not God's true religion.. it
was basically only meant to show how man cannot get to heaven by the Jewish
way of trying to keep all of God's laws.. so God had made a better way.. the
just person shall live free from hell by faith in the finished work of Jesus
Christ alone.
The
Jews and the Messianic Jews today as well they wrongfully do still also want
you to worship them and to accept the supposed value of their non applicable
religion, culture too.. and that is why they are termed false legalists,
Judiazer.
It is
also a lie "that you have to understand the Jewish Culture to be better
able to understand Christianity".. for in reality man's recorded History
is very poorly kept and no one still really knows what the Jewish Culture was
like prior to Christ.. or in the time of Christ even.. not even most of the
Jewish Historians, authors.. there is almost no written Jewish records
existing as well.. it is all mostly still a false guess. Jews did not
and do not agree amongst themselves what constitutes a true Jewish culture,
religion, so why try to worship their lies?
Furthermore Jesus himself clearly was
not a Jew.. he was born of a virgin for his actual father was God, the Holy
Spirit, and God was not, is not a Jew.. Jesus father was not at all Joseph..
Jesus he was born into a Jewish family, but he was not born a real Jew like
Apostle Paul was now.
The Christian New Testament also clearly says
that there also can never be peace for the nation of Israel or with the
Jewish people till they all do accept each personally Jesus as their Lord and
personal savior..
(Mat 23:38
KJV) Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.39 For I say
unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he
that cometh in the name of the Lord. (Mat 10:34 KJV) Think not that I am
come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and
the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in
law. 36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. 37 He
that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that
loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And he that
taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
Note the Apostles
preached the word of God, the New Testament that we have today and so should
we.
(Acts
16:6 KJV) Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of
Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the
word in Asia,
(2 Tim
4:2 KJV) Preach the
word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove,
rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and
doctrine.
Too many People today seem
to only want to hear positive news, not the real, negative truths, the rebukes
and reproves God has called all preachers to do.
(Acts 5
KJV) 30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and
hanged on a tree. 31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince
and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of
sins.32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the
Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
(Acts
11: KJV) 16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that
he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the
Holy Ghost. 17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did
unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could
withstand God? When they heard these things, they held their peace, and
glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance
unto life.
(Acts
13:24 KJV) When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of
repentance to all the people of Israel. 5 When they heard this, they
were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid
his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues,
and prophesied.
(Acts
20: KJV) 20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable
unto you, but have showed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to
house, 21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks,
repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus
Christ.
(Acts
26:20 KJV) But showed first unto them of Damascus,
and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the
Gentiles, that they should repent and
turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.
I
have no doubt that the message the Apostles as well preached to the people
continually in the New Testament was repentance, for without repentance one
cannot receive the Holy Spirit. In fact that was also the job of the Holy
Spirit..
(John
16:7 KJV) Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you
that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you;
but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 8 And when he is come, he
will reprove the world of sin, and of
righteousness, and of judgment:
I have to admit that the majority of my Bible
devotional, notes are based on my own real and past personal
experiences.. on something I have experienced in life and where God made the
scriptures relevant to it. In order words I was taught directly by the
Lord. What about you?
As I looked at this passage in 2 Timothy I was reminded
of the word evil.. the need of our asking people to repent of their wrongs and
I have noted that in all of the cases the last 20 years I was asked firstly
to do it alone.. I asked bad pastors, and ministers of the government
to repent by myself... many others though agreed with me in prayer that
it was needed,
(2 Tim
4:1 KJV) I charge thee therefore before
God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the
dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach
the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke,
exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine. 3 For the time
will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts
shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they
shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an
evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. 6 For I am now ready to be
offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good
fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth
there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the
righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all
them also that love his appearing. 9 Do thy diligence to come shortly
unto me: 10 For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world,
and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.
11 Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is
profitable to me for the ministry. 12 And Tychicus have I sent to
Ephesus. 13 The cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou
comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.
14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him
according to his works: 15 Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath
greatly withstood our words. 16 At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men
forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.
17 Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened
me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles
might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. 18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work,
and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and
ever. Amen.
What men still do often talk about preaching is
beating up other people with their
words..but we
cannot neglect that rebuke is included in the verse on instant preaching
.. and we rebuke believers firstly. Jesus REBUKED Peter,(Mark 8:33 KJV)
But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter,
saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be
of God, but the things that be of men.
Apostle Paul even rebuked apostle Peter. (Gal
2:13 KJV) And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that
Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation. 14 But when I
saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I
said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner
of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live
as do the Jews? 15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of
the Gentiles, 16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the
law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ,
that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the
law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. 17 But if,
while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners,
is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. 18 For if I build
again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. 19 For
I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. 20 I
am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in
me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son
of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. 21 I do not frustrate the
grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in
vain. 3:1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should
not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set
forth, crucified among you? 2 This only would I learn of you, Received
ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? 3 Are
ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the
flesh? 4 Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
5 He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles
among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for
righteousness.
10 For as many as
are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is
every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of
the law to do them. 11 But that no man is justified by the law in the
sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. 12 And
the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse
for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus
Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Man cannot do God's
work.. God's gifts ALSO cannot be used when desired.. everything is subject to
the will of God, by the Holy Spirit..but I only agree that the instant
preaching that God accepts is asking anyone to repent.. that is the instant
preaching that the prophet's like Jonah, John the Baptist, Jesus preached. Now
if you tell people to ask others to repent of their sins.. they LIKLEY will
not do that..
(Rev 3:19 KJV) As many as I love, I rebuke and
chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
(Mat 16:22 KJV) Then Peter took him, and began
to rebuke him, saying, Be it
far from thee, Lord: this
shall not be unto thee.
(Mark 8:32 KJV) And he spake that saying
openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.
(Luke 17:3 KJV) Take heed to yourselves: If
thy brother trespass against
thee, rebuke him; and if
he repent, forgive him.
(Luke 19:39 KJV) And some of the Pharisees
from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.
(Phil 2:15 KJV) That ye may be blameless and
harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and
perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
(1 Tim 5:20 KJV) Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may
fear.
(Titus 1:13 KJV) This witness is true.
Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
(Titus 2:15 KJV) These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all
authority. Let no man despise thee.
(Heb 12:2 KJV) Looking unto Jesus the author
and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the
cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of
God. 3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of
sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. 4
Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. 5 And ye have
forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor
faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth
he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure
chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the
father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all
are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
(1 John 1:9 KJV) If we confess our sins, he is
faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.
(1 John 1:10 KJV) If we say that we have not
sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
Here also is a very appropriate rebuke the Church
still needs to hear today... Most believers are no different than non believers,,
especially when it comes to coveting the rich persons and despising the poor
persons.
(Deu 15:11 KJV) For the poor shall never cease out
of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide
unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land. (Gal 2:10
KJV) Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I
also was forward to do.
(James 2:1 KJV) My brethren, have not the
faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of
persons.
(James 2:13 KJV) For
he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath showed no mercy; and mercy
rejoiceth against judgment. 14 What doth it profit, my brethren,
though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and
filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful
to the body; what doth it profit?
(Phil 2:12 KJV) Wherefore, my beloved, as ye
have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my
absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is God
which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15 That ye may
be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the
midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the
world;
Preach the
Word means to Ask them to Repent firstly. And have you?
And do many persons today really want to
follow after the God, the truth, the Bible, or merely after Men's lies
still?
