First I rightfully still do not endorse any Christians adds, anyone, any person, any organization, any Church  now trying to make any money from  the gospel, or begging, asking for money or even  any of the adds here.  I also do not endorse any of  Bibles, books, tapes listed here for sale too. Jesus said as we have freely received so we are freely to give. Hirelings in their greed and visible lack of faith don't do that. I do believe we should have the faith for God to supply what anyone needs  freely to anyone who needs it.

 The walk

The Christian and politicians, others.. the best thing that they can do after repenting and receiving Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal savior is always to pray, read the Bible ... but now  also to live a godly life.

(Luke 18:1 KJV)  men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

(2 Chr 7:14 KJV)  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

(1 Pet 3:10 KJV)  For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

(1 Pet 3:12 KJV)  For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

(1 Pet 3:13 KJV)  And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?

And that includes their living righteously for God Will Hear the  Prayers of the Righteous Granted, we have all been made righteous before the eyes of God the Father as a result of Jesus Christ dying on the cross for all of our sins. The righteousness of Jesus has now been imputed to us. However, this does not at all give us the license and the right to start sinning again. Though we have all been made righteous before the eyes of God as a result of what Jesus did for us on the cross - we still have to make every effort to try and live a good and righteous life and stay out of any unacceptable sins in the eyes of God the Father. This secret right here is a major reason why many Christians are not having much success in their prayer room with God the Father.

(John 5:14 KJV)  Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.
  • The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man will avail much
  • God will answer our prayers if we are keeping His commandments
  • God will hear and answer the prayers of the righteous
  • God will not hear or answer the prayers of those who are not obeying His commandments
"The Lord is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the righteous." (Proverbs 15:29)

"Let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil." (1 Peter 3:11)

"And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight." (1 John 3:22)

"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." (James 5:16)

"But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear." (Isaiah 59:2)

"One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be an abomination." (Proverbs 28:9)
"And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses." (Mark 11:25) (this presupposes that the other guilty person had asked for your forgiveness.. and you had refused it..)

"Likewise you husbands, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, THAT YOUR PRAYERS MAY NOT BE HINDERED." (1 Peter 3:7)

You simply can't be doing drugs, abusing alcohol, cheating on your spouse, scamming and cheating others on your job, absuing others, lying, stealing, delving into areas of the occult, chasing after other false doctrines and religions - and then still even think that the Lord is simply going to turn a blind eye and let a lot of these matters go without you personaly having to suffer the reasult negative consequences as a result of treading into territories that are expressly forbidden. Tread past the boundary lines - and you will  risk having God turn His face away from you and refuse to hear any of your prayers, petitions or requests. God always knows best. Do things His way and your life and your walk with Him will become much easier. Do things your way - and you will eventually end up becoming a train wreck just waiting to crash and burn. The choice is yours.

(Rev 3:18 KJV)  I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

We always have to continue to keep working with the Lord on allowing Him to mold, shape and transform us into a better and more holy people.

(1 Cor 11:27 KJV)  Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28  But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29   For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30  For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31  For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

(Heb 12:5 KJV)     And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6   For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7  If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? ...   9  Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? 10  For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.11  Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

(Isa 5:16 KJV)  But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.

(Isa 26:10 KJV)  Let favour be showed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.

(Ezek 18:20 KJV)  The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

(Micah 7:9 KJV)  I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.

(Mal 3:3 KJV)  And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

(Mat 5:20 KJV)  For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

(Luke 1:75 KJV)  In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

"If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them ... you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely. I will give you peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none will make you afraid; I will rid the land of evil beasts, and the sword will not go through your land. You will chase your enemies, and they shall fall by the sword before you. Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight; your enemies shall fall by the sword before you." (Leviticus 26:3)

"For the Lord your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and give your enemies over to you; therefore your camp shall be holy, that He may see no unclean thing among you, and turn away from you." (Deuteronomy 23:14)

(Luke 18:9 KJV)  And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: 10  Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. 11  The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. 12  I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. 13  And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. 14  I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Furthermore you must also regularly fellowship with other good Christians.. and there are also unacceptable bad professing christians
(Song 1:7 KJV)  Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest, where thou makest thy flock to rest at noon: for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy companions? 8 If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherds' tents.

(James 5:14 KJV)  Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

(James 5:16 KJV)  Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.18  And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.19  Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20  Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

(2 Tim 3:8 KJV)  Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

(2 Tim 4:4 KJV)  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

(Titus 1:1 KJV)  Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;

(Titus 1:14 KJV)  Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

(Heb 10:26 KJV)  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

(1 Pet 1:22 KJV)  Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

(1 John 1:6 KJV)  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

(1 John 1:8 KJV)  If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

(1 John 2:4 KJV)  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

(1 John 2:21 KJV)  I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

and all persons, even the professing Christians included who unrepentantly so still tell lies now  in reality undeniably do not personally know God.
(Jer 4:12 KJV)  Even a full wind from those places shall come unto me: now also will I give sentence against them.

(Jer 15:1 KJV)  Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.

I can also really say by experience in the normal, real world that the normal tendency of most of the superior, better than the other persons, demon motivated, inspired persons, civil and public servants, politcians,  ministers, even of too many professing Christians is to be self serving, daily mainly living in the kingdom of self, being disrespectful of the other  persons, mainly living the kingdom of before I do anything for someone else's what is it in it for me? at least an income tax return? This includes their systematic planning how can I use the other person for my own benefit? next how can I personally enslave them.. and they do this by often reminding  you how good they are, how bad you are, and that while God has forgiven bad forgotten your repented sins, weakness they have not..

and because a sentence of judgment has yet not been personally carried out, experienced  the intent of man is still to do wrong.. (Eccl 8:11 KJV)  Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

The other  thing I have encountered often and wrongfully even from church elders too is that any one personally is not really guilty of any wrong doing, until one has been officially convicted by an official  court of judgment... on earth or in heaven.. So if you personally had even lied, cheated, stole, murdered, committed tax evasion you still really are not guilty of any wrong doings until  it  has been established in the courts, and printed in the newspaper.. it really not funny how many people do wrongfully think they got away with their wrong doings cause they have yet not paid for their crimes personally.. even professing Christians.

(1 Tim 5:20 KJV)  Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.

(1 Tim 5:21 KJV)  I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.

(Rev 3:19 KJV)  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

(Psa 55:1 KJV)  . Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.

(Psa 55:2 KJV)  Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise;

(Psa 55:3 KJV)  Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.

(Psa 55:4 KJV)  My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.

(Psa 55:5 KJV)  Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me.

(Psa 55:6 KJV)  And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.

(Psa 55:7 KJV)  Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah.

(Psa 55:8 KJV)  I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest.

(Psa 55:9 KJV)  Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.

(Psa 55:10 KJV)  Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: mischief also and sorrow are in the midst of it.

(Psa 55:11 KJV)  Wickedness is in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.

(Psa 55:12 KJV)  For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:

(Psa 55:13 KJV)  But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.

(Psa 55:14 KJV)  We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.

(Psa 55:15 KJV)  Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them. (Psa 55:16 KJV)  As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.

(Psa 55:17 KJV)  Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

(Psa 55:18 KJV)  He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.

(Psa 55:19 KJV)  God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.

(Psa 55:20 KJV)  He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant.

(Psa 55:21 KJV)  The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.

(Psa 55:22 KJV)  Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

(Psa 55:23 KJV)  But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.

Walk righteously with God and then you can calm these promises too

(Jer 31:34 KJV)  And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Many Christians even have not read the Bible in its complete entirety - so they are not fully aware also of all the incredible knowledge and revelation that is in this same book and how it can realy now apply to their daily lives. That is another reason  so many Christians are in major doctrinal errors now too..

It is really bad enough that Satan is already present amongst us but he will also still work to enlarge his influence, presence in the church, through professing Christians as well.. as he had used the Apostle Peter and Apostle Judas to try to do so with Jesus now as well.

(Mat 10:36 KJV)  And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

(Acts 20:29 KJV)  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

(Acts 20:30 KJV)  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

"Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the mutilation!" (Philippians 3:2)

(Phil 2:15 KJV)  That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

(Luke 12:15 KJV)  And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

(1 Tim 6:3 KJV)  If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;4   He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, 5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.6  But godliness with contentment is great gain.

(1 Tim 6:9 KJV)  But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

(1 Tim 6:10 KJV)  For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

(1 Cor 5:12 KJV)  For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

"Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of God." (2 Corinthians 6:14)

"For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of the light ... And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light." (Ephesians 5:8)

"The righteous should chose his friends carefully, for the way of the wicked leads them astray." (Proverbs 12:26)

"Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines." (Hebrews 13:9)

"If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds." (2 John 1:10)

"For false christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, the elect." (Matthew 24:24)

"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits." (Matthew 7:15)

"Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ." (Colossians 2:8)

"Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them." (Ephesians 5:6)

(2 Tim 3:1 KJV)  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8  Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 9  But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

Many Christian persons still even tend to go overboard even with the Biblical issue of submission.. and other Biblical issues.
(James 4:7 KJV)  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

(Acts 5:29 KJV)  Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

"You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men. ." (1 Corinthians 7:23)

"For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more ... " (1 Corinthians 9:19)

"For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord's." (Romans 14:7)

(Eph 6:1 KJV)  Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

(Col 3:20 KJV)  Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
Note this clearly stipulates that only the children have to obey their own parents, once you become an adult, your are directly personally accountable  ultimately now to God continually..
(Rom 6:22 KJV)  But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Rebellion is still a common personal sin nevertheless.. even of elders, pastors, individuals

(Deu 31:27 KJV)  For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the LORD; and how much more after my death?

(Josh 22:22 KJV)  The LORD God of gods, the LORD God of gods, he knoweth, and Israel he shall know; if it be in rebellion, or if in transgression against the LORD, (save us not this day,)

(1 Sam 15:23 KJV)  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

(Neh 9:17 KJV)  And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.

(Job 34:37 KJV)  For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.

(Prov 17:11 KJV)  An evil man (or woman) seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.

(Jer 28:16 KJV)  Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD.

(Jer 29:32 KJV)  Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seed: he shall not have a man to dwell among this people; neither shall he behold the good that I will do for my people, saith the LORD; because he hath taught rebellion against the LORD.

(2 Sam 22:23 KJV)  For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart from them.

(1 Pet 5:5 KJV)  Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

Voluntary , non enforceable Mutual submission one to another in the Church is always the rightful order.. and so is humility,
  1. The scripture still  clearly commands husbands to lead and wives to submit even when the husband is or is supposedly ungodly, unless the request, or act  is clearly an ungodly one.... ( Note Abigail disobeyed her husband and was still blessed for it...  1 Sam 25:2 -42 )
  2. Not only does it command wives to submit to their husbands, but it commands wives to submit to their husbands in everything. However, the same demand cannot be said of the husband.
  3. Note this always too that Christ is the sole head of the Church, and not any of the pastors, elders,  and the husband is the sole head of the home, marriage and not any of the inlaws, or anyone else. Christ is the Head of the church, and it would be also a heresy to say that Christ must be in mutual submission to us.
  4. The church members are to be in submission to chirst, one to another, and then  the godly submission   is next required of wives to the husband on top of what is required to the church. The husbands are always commanded not to treat their wives harshly and  to love them.
  5. The Bible should be read at face value unless there is good reason to read it differently, such as when it appears to contradicts another part of scripture, but the Bible is very clear on submission.

“Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything” (Eph 5:24, NIV, )

(1 Pet 3:1 KJV)  Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; "For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more ... " (1 Corinthians 9:19)

"Wives, submit to your husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ. so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it, that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish. So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself." (Ephesians 5:22)

(1 Pet 2:16 KJV)  As free, and not using your liberty for a cloak of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.

(John 8:32 KJV)  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

(John 8:36 KJV)  If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

(Rom 8:2 KJV)  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

(1 Cor 9:1 KJV)  Am I not an apostle? am I not free?

(1 Cor 9:19 KJV)  For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.

(1 Cor 12:13 KJV)  For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

(Gal 3:28 KJV)  There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

(Heb 13:9 KJV)  Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

(Gal 4:26 KJV)  But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

(Gal 4:31 KJV)  So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

(Gal 5:1 KJV)  Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

(Gal 2:11 KJV)  But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. 12  For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision. 13  And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation. 14  But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? 15  We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, 16  Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

(2 Tim 2:15 KJV)  Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16  But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

"Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons." (1 Timothy 4:1)

9  But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

and because a sentence of judgment has yet not been personally carried out, experienced  the intent of man is still to do wrong.. (Eccl 8:11 KJV)  Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

Many Christians even have not read the Bible in its complete entirety - so they are not fully aware also of all the incredible knowledge and revelation that is in this same book and how it can realy now apply to their daily lives. That is another reason  so many Christians are in major doctrinal errors now too..

Many people even professing Christians still do  take Bible verses out of context to suit their own desires, belief.. Here is a clear fact from the Bible.. you still do tell what a person is like by what they do.. and people who twist the scriptures will evident even more sins of theirs still too for they will increase unto more ungodliness

(Mat 7:18 KJV)  A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

(Luke 6:43 KJV)  For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

(Mat 7:19 KJV)  Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

(Gal 6:7 KJV)  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

(Gal 6:8 KJV)  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

(Prov 23:8 KJV)  The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words.

(Luke 3:8 KJV)  Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

(Gal 6:9 KJV)  And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

It is not enough to accept Jesus Christ as the sole Lord of yoru life and personal Savior from sins you still also have to still next walk righteously before God, abide in his word, prayer, Christian fellowship, do good works.

As to my doctrinal beliefs on Eternal Salvation I  do  believe that anyone can lose their salvation. I still do  believe in the biblical doctrine of perseverance of the saints; that is, Jesus will not lose one that the Father has given Him (John 10:28-29), and those  who are Christ’s will persevere to the very end (1 Timothy 4:16). We may  know that we are, indeed, held in God’s hand and cannot be taken out (John 10:29) or separated from His love (Romans 8:39) because we were chosen before the foundation of the world by Him (Ephesians 1:4) but nevertheless we always have our own free will, we can exercise it, and we can chose to no longer walk with God, as clearly evident next by our own fruits as well.. God will respect that Choice.

There are some who will believe themselves to be Christians but others maintain that they actually still are not born again (Matthew 7:21-23). These people have had a profession of salvation in Jesus Christ, but the fruit of their life, is a bondage to habitual sin, should cause them to question whether or not they are truly saved or whether or not they are still going to heaven. It is always  indeed possible to be saved and to simply have fallen into a sin trap (Galatians 6:1), for there is also ample biblical evidence to suggest that a saved Christian can be lost.. Judas was one of the twelve chosen ones, an  apostles too... he made his own bed and laid next  in it too... and the wise and foolish virgins included.

Please do examine also  these Scriptures:

Deuteronomy 29:18-21, “Beware lest there be among you a man or woman or clan or tribe whose heart is turning away today from the Lord our God to go and serve the gods of those nations. Beware lest there be among you a root bearing poisonous and bitter fruit, 19one who, when he hears the words of this sworn covenant, blesses himself in his heart, saying, 'I shall be safe, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart.' This will lead to the sweeping away of moist and dry alike. 20The Lord will not be willing to forgive him, but rather the anger of the Lord and his jealousy will smoke against that man, and the curses written in this book will settle upon him, and the Lord will blot out his name from under heaven. 21And the Lord will single him out from all the tribes of Israel for calamity, in accordance with all the curses of the covenant written in this Book of the Law.”

In the above passage, God presents the truth that He is always against those who are at carnal ease. That is, those who assure themselves of their eternal safety while they are stubborn of heart and have idols in their lives. God promises to single even this person out for calamity, for he is deceived and enslaved to idol worship, while professing to be a child of God.

Some say that this is merely Old Testament law, which does not apply to us today who are under New Testament grace is to despise God's word in it's fulnessand to  deny that “ALL Scriptures are...useful for teaching, reproof, correction and training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16-17). A New Testament, this passage says essentially the same thing:

1 Corinthians 6:9-11, “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

This passage states clearly that the “unrighteous” (and then it goes on to define who are unrighteous) will not inherit the kingdom of God. It could not be clearer that those who are deliberately, habitually involved in sexual immorality, idolatry (which includes all forms of impurity, according to Colossians 3:5), homosexuality, thieves, greedy, drunkards, etc. will not enter Heaven and may likley not hav been saved inthe first place.. . Those who are saved tend to no longer be involved in this type of activity, which truth is communicated to us in the above passage by saying, “Such WERE some of you...” Some of the Christians Corinthians WERE sexually immoral, idolatrous, homosexuals, etc. but some of them they are not now like that.

Apostle Paul had  said these unrepentant professing Christian people were to be severely negative deal with now, so they would repent... given fully even over to Satan and why too (1 Cor 5:5 KJV)  To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus... and some other Christian persons still did not or do not repent.

While many people they may point to a time when they said a prayer, were baptized, or raised their hand during some altar call as their point of salvation  who finally by their own free will choice are practicing a lifestyle that is specifically forbidden by the scriptures and  yet they are fully convinced that they are saved. .

But we know the truth from Scripture that if anyone is in Christ then he is a new creation—the old has gone, the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17) but God now has also said a dog can return to it's vomit,  (Prov 26:11 KJV)  As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly. (2 Pet 2:22 KJV)  But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Go and sin no more lest a worse thing befall you.

(John 5:14 KJV)  Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

(John 8:11 KJV)  She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

—and yet these people continue in or return to their old sinful lifestyles, despite their profession of faith in Christ and their assurance (falsely) that all is well with their soul. They are described in the Deuteronomy 29 passage above as those who say to themselves that they will be safe, though they walk in the stubbornness of their hearts, and are instead singled out by God for calamity. Therefore continually

2 Corinthians 13:5, “Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? —unless indeed you fail to meet the test!”

Some want to say that there is no reason to test ourselves, for after all, we “made a decision,” we “prayed a prayer”, we have been baptized, etc. therefore we are assured our place in heaven, no matter if our lives evidence to the contrary. Why do I need to test myself if I have prayed to accept Christ? And yet the Apostle Paul, in the above verse, declares that it is possible to fail the test, thereby revealing that one no longer is not in the faith.

(1 Cor 9:27 KJV)  But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Why would Paul worry about personally being a castaway like Judas when it is wrongfully supposedly impossible for a Christian to be a castaway

Galatians 5:24, “And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.”

Oh friend, we must remember that the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of continual applied power to crucify the flesh and walk in newness of life (1 Corinthians 4:20).

My  point is to cause people to question whether or not they are saved, since the issue at stake is so critical, and since there exists a high probability of deception. And it is good, and right, and biblical for us to call people who come to study with us to an examination of their lives and see if they may be one who is deceived and enslaved, and headed for hell while claiming safety, even if they truly have converted but have fallen into a sin trap without quickly repenting and finding again the freedom in Christ.

Note the following passage:

Hosea 4:10-11, “They shall eat, but not be satisfied; they shall play the whore, but not multiply, because they have forsaken the Lord to cherish 11whoredom, wine, and new wine, which take away the understanding.”

We note from verse 11 that “whoredom” or in other versions “adultery”, is that which takes away the understanding. We may be serious Bible students, we may be seminary trained, we may have degrees in theology, but if we are involved in habitual sins of pornography, masturbation, or any other forms of heart adultery, our goldy understanding will be next be removed.

We may have had some Godly  knowledge, but next more true understanding of God and His ways only come to those who are not involved in impurity, only those who lie righteously and follow after God with tier whole hearts.

Matthew 5:8 "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

We note that it is the pure in heart that are able to see God only. Those defiled by habitual sin are skewed, next not only in their understanding of the Bible, but also of their view of Who God is. Purity removes the filter between us and God and, like laser eye surgery, corrects our previously poor vision of God.

Personal unrepentant sin will also keep us away from the he truth of God's words and the truth of God's words if applied will keep us away from sin.

So, the best thing any sin captive anywhere can do is to humble themselves and repent...

(2 Chr 7:14 KJV)  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

(1 John 1:9 KJV)  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

(1 John 1:10 KJV)  If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

If you are clearly still  living a sinful life now it is likley you are still going to hell..

(James 4:7 KJV)  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

(Rev 2:5 KJV)  Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

(1 John 2:4 KJV)  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

(1 John 2:21 KJV)  I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

(Prov 17:11 KJV)  An evil man (or woman) seeketh only rebellion: therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him.

(Jer 28:16 KJV)  Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD.

for  all persons, even the professing Christians included who unrepentantly do still tell lies now  in reality undeniably do not personally know God.

It is not enough to accept Jesus Christ as the sole Lord of your life and personal Savior from sins you also have to walk righteously before God, abide in his word, prayer, Christian fellowship, do good works.

Even in the professing evangelical churches, likely less than 25 percent of the persons there are likely really even saved.. many are called but few are chosen..

"But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them." II Cor 4:3-6

(Acts 26:18 KJV)  To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

1 John 3:8-9 "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."

Committeth and Commit are poieo in Greek; meaning make or do, practice, exercise, work, continue, purpose, perform, cause, or fulfill.

"And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lust of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others." Eph 2:1-3

Gal 5:19-21 "Now the works of the flesh are evident which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries and the like, of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God."

1 Thessalonians 2:18 "Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us."

Hindered is egkopto in Greek; meaning to cut into, to impede, to detain, or to be tedious unto.

Acts 5:3 "But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?"

Filled is pleroo in Greek; meaning cover, fill, imbue, or influence.
Heart is kardia in Greek; meaning heart, thoughts or feelings.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."

Transformed is metaschematizo in Greek; meaning transfer of modes, disguise, or transfigure.

(Eph 5:11 KJV)  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

2 Timothy 2:24 "And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves (and escape) out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will."

Recover themselves is ananepho in Greek, meaning to become sober again or to regain one's senses.

Ephesians 4:25-27 " Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil."

Place is topos in Greek, meaning space, location, condition, license, or opportunity.

James 4:7 "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

1 Peter 5:8-9 "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary [the] devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world."

Resist is anthistemi in Greek; meaning to stand against, to oppose, to withstand. First we must submit ourselves to God before we can stand against the devil and watch him run away.

We must insure we are not given grounds to the devil to take us captive, when we encounter the devil we can by the blood of Jesus, and in the name of Jesus command him and all of his followers to leave us. We must also continually, daily allow the Holy Spirit to take control over our flesh.

(Gal 5:22 KJV)  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24   And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

(Eph 5:9 KJV)  (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

(Eph 5:10 KJV)  Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

(Eph 5:11 KJV)  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

(Eph 5:12 KJV)  For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

(Eph 5:13 KJV)  But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

(Eph 5:14 KJV)  Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

(Eph 5:15 KJV)  See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

(Eph 5:16 KJV)  Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

(Eph 5:18 KJV)  And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

(Eph 5:19 KJV)  Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

(Eph 5:20 KJV)  Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

(Eph 5:21 KJV)  Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

(Luke 11:23 KJV)  He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.

(Luke 11:24 KJV)  When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. 25  And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. 26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.

1 Samuel 16:14-16 "But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him. And Saul's servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee. Let our lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out a man, who is a cunning player on an harp: and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou shalt be well."

Departed is cuwr in Hebrew; meaning to turn aside, turn in unto, avoid, to be removed, to come to an end, take away, put away, depose, retract, reject, abolish, or be removed.

II Cor 2:11 says, "Lest Satan should get an advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices."

Eph 6:12 says, "For we wrestle not against flesh & blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

Luke 10:19 says, "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven." Devils is daimonion in Greek; meaning demonic beings.

Why does the devil the accuser of the christians, tries to kill everyone?

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world." I Peter 5:8-9

Adversary in the Greek implies "one who is adamantly opposed to righteousness, one who is hostile toward righteousness, who desires to destroy and obliterate it." Not just one who is passively opposed, but actively pursuing them and doing all within his power to wipe them out.

Roaring Lion works to draws fear in the heart of a weak person, especially if he never shuts up but roars constantly day and night.

Seeking those whom he may devour he clearly looks for the weak isolated, uninformed, or misinformed ones.

in the Old and New Testaments there are many references to the devil. They are given in names, symbols, and types and all of them reveal his twisted, perverted nature, and his mode of operation which fits into one of four categories:

1. Satan's destructive bent
2. Satan's perverted nature
3. Satan's desire to control
4. Satan, the mind manipulator

Here are the Bibical names used for satan and next to them a number corresponding with his mode of operation.

Abaddon (Rev 9:11) (1)
Accuser (Rev 12:10) (4)
Adversary (I Pet 5:8) (4)
Angel of Light (II Cor 11:14) (4)
Apollyon (Rev 9:11) (1)
Beelzebub (Matt 10:25,12:24)(2)
Belial (II Cor 6:15) (2)
Devil (Eph 6:11, I Pet 5:8,Rev12:9) (4)
Dragon (Rev 12:9) (2)
Evil One (Matt 6:13) (2)
Murderer (John 8:44) (2)
Prince of this World (John 12:31) (3)
Prince of the Power of the Air (Eph 2:2) (3)
Roaring Lion (I Pet 5:8) (4)
Satan (Luke 10:18) (4)
Serpent (Rev 12:9) (1)

1. Satan has a destructive bent-He has an insatiable desire to destroy.

2. Satan has a perverted nature-He is attracted to environments where rotting, stinking, carnality exists.

3. Satan has a desire to control-He wants to control everything and everyone.

4. Satan has the ability to manipulate-He is a master at mind games and has the  ability to twist and lie to the mind.

Thus We fight:

- principalities-individuals who hold the highest & loftiest position of rank and authority
- powers-lower ranking demons that receive delegated authority from satan
- rulers of darkness of this world-ranks, files, troops
- spiritual wickedness in high places-individual spirits sent forth to affect humanity in a bad, vile, impious way

and if Satan or his demons cannot get to us he will also send one of his human followers against us.

(John 8:44 KJV)  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Acts 13:6-12 "And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus: Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God. But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, And said, O full of all subtlety and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord."

Matthew 16:21-24 "From that time forth began Jesus to show unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan : thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."

Away from is hupago in Greek; meaning, withdraw, go away, get beneath, get behind, or get to an inferior position.

Luke 22:31-32 "And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you (plural), that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren."

Desired to have is exaiteomai in Greek; meaning to demand (for trial), and to desire. This is the only time this word appears in Scripture.

Our personal Prayer is one of the most effective weapons against Satan as well

You pray "(Mat 6:13 KJV)  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen."

Eph 6:11 says "Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."

(Eph 6:13 KJV)  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16   Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

We must take into God's control even over our hearts and thoughts by continually meditating on God's word

(Mat 15:19 KJV)  For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

(Mark 7:21 KJV)  For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

(Luke 5:22 KJV)  But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?

(Luke 24:38 KJV)  And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?

(Heb 4:12 KJV)  For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

(2 Tim 3:16 KJV)  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17  That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

I Peter 1:13 says, "gird up the loins of your mind." This means gather up the loose ends of your mind and get it in good shape. We must keep watch over our minds because that also is is where the battle is raging.

"For our weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." II Cor 10:4-5

II Tim 1:7   "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

1 John 3:8 "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."

Hebrews 2:14 "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil."

Destroy is katargeo in Greek; meaning to render inoperative, abolish, or to make of no effect.

[Romans 16:20 "And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen."]

Bruise is suntribo in Greek; meaning to crush completely and to shatter.

Acts 10:38 "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil (whom the devil exercised power over); for God was with him."

Healing is iaomai in Greek; meaning cure, heal, or make whole.

1 John 3:10-11 "In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another."

and resisting the devil by the blood of jesus and the name of jesus, by prayer is an ongoing daily need too.
