First I rightfully still do not endorse any Christians adds, anyone, any person, any organization, any Church  now trying to make any money from  the gospel, or begging, asking for money or even  any of the adds here.  I also do not endorse any of  Bibles, books, tapes listed here for sale too. Jesus said as we have freely received so we are freely to give. Hirelings in their greed and visible lack of faith don't do that. I do believe we should have the faith for God to supply what anyone needs  freely to anyone who needs it.

A STUDY OF THE BOOK OF JOEL

(Luke 3:8 KJV)  Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. 9 And now also the ax is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

According to your own personal faith it shall be done unto you as well...
(Gal 6:7 KJV)  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
I want you to note that even today evangelical pastors are not always true prophets so that is really why wrongfully too they do not actually ask all of the people to repent or really do not warn them seriously  of real upcoming negative earthly judgments by God like do all of  the real prophets..

Joel 1:1  The word of the LORD that came to Joel the son of Pethuel. 2  Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers? 3  Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation. 4  That which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten; and that which the locust hath left hath the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpillar eaten. 5  Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine, for it is cut off from your mouth. 6  For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion. 7  He hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white. 8  Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth. 9  The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the LORD; the priests, the LORD'S ministers, mourn. 10  The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth. 11  Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished. 12  The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.

13  Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God. 14  Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD. 15  Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come. 16  Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God? 17  The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered. 18  How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.

19  O LORD, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field. 20  The beasts of the field cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.

The Book of Joel is not the only book that warns of God's impending judgments, and does asks the people of God and the priests even to repent, so also does the Old Testament Book of Micah and so did many other prophets.

(Micah 1:2 KJV)  Hear, all ye people; hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord GOD be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple. 3   For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth. 4  And the mountains shall be molten under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, and as the waters that are poured down a steep place. 5  For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?

(Micah 2:11 KJV)  If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.

(Micah 3:8 KJV)  But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.

(Micah 3:11 KJV)  The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.

God is no false respecter of persons and he does not show partiality.. the Bible also says there is both an eternal judgment in Heaven eventually for all persons individually , and also still a periodic real negative personal, INDIVIDUAL earthly judgments on earth as well upon all persons..  the latter fact  is what most evangelical pastors wrongfully also do deny will happen even today.. so they wrongfully mostly do not repent of their own unacceptable sins too.. nor do they thus encourage others to repent of them wrongfully too
(Malachi 2:1 KJV)  And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.2  If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.3 Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.

Joel chapter one like the Apostles did clearly does even ask God's people, and the priests, leaders also  to repent firstly..

(Mat 7:26 KJV)  And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

This above passage applies to both periodic negative earthly judgments and the eternal judgment as well now..  for  the Bible is also  clear of the reality  God's earthly judgment on his own people, priests. pastors  even now as well

(1 Ki 2:27 KJV)  So Solomon thrust out Abiathar from being priest unto the LORD; that he might fulfil the word of the LORD, which he spake concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh.

(Acts 5:1 KJV)  But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, 2  And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it, at the apostles' feet. 3  But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4  Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. 5  And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. 6  And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him. 7  And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. 8  And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. 9  Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. 10  Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband. 11  And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

(1 Pet 4:17 KJV)  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

(2 Cor 5:10 KJV)  For we must (also) all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

There firstly is great falsehoods being taught even in evangelical churches today still  that there is no earthly judgment for believers or the  non believers while they live on earth.. and that  there will be next an eternal negative  judgment only for the non believers..

(1 Cor 10:21 KJV)  Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. 22   Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

(1 Cor 11:23 KJV)  For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24  And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25  After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26  For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's death till he come. 27  Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28  But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29  For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30  For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31  For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32  But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

(Mat 25:1 KJV)  Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2  And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3  They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4  But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5  While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6  And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7  Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8  And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9  But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10  And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11  Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12  But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13  Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

In the New Testament parable of the wise and foolish virgins both groups   were anointed with the holy spirit, virgins are a symbol of the bride of Christ too, and both thus were Christians, but one group let the oil go out.. the foolish, pretentious religious virgins, and they paid a negative earthly consequences for it,, they specially missed the rapture and went next into the tribulation period here on earth thus.

The minute you commit a sin, unintentionally or deliberately, you do start to reap negative personal consequence, whether you are a believer or not, whether you perceive it, admit it or not!!

(Rom 1:32 KJV)  Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

(Rom 2:2 KJV)  But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.

(Rom 2:3 KJV)  And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

Too many pastors try to interpret the book of Joel as solely being God's judgment on unbelievers here on earth carried out by God's saints.. a false ostrich approach to the Bible's negative truths even..

(Rom 2:5 KJV)  But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

(Rom 14:10 KJV)  But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

(2 Cor 5:10 KJV)  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

(Gal 5:10 KJV)  I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.

(Phil 1:9 KJV)  And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;

(1 Tim 5:24 KJV)  Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.

(Heb 6:2 KJV)  Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

(Heb 9:27 KJV)  And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

(Heb 10:27 KJV)  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

(James 2:13 KJV)  For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath showed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

(2 Pet 2:3 KJV)  And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

(2 Pet 2:4 KJV)  For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

(2 Pet 2:9 KJV)  The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

(2 Pet 3:7 KJV)  But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

(Jude 1:6 KJV)  And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

(Jude 1:15 KJV)  To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

(Rev 14:7 KJV)  Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

(Rev 17:1 KJV)  And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

(Rev 18:10 KJV)  Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

(Rev 20:4 KJV)  And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

(Psa 74:10 KJV)  O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?

(Psa 19:13 KJV)  Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
(Jer 9:1 KJV)  Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!

(Jer 9:2 KJV)   Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men. 3  And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD. 4  Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders. 5  And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity. 6  Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the LORD.
(Jer 9:7 KJV)  Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how shall I do for the daughter of my people? 8  Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit: one speaketh peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth, but in heart he layeth his wait. 9  Shall I not visit them for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

(Jer 9:12 KJV)   Who is the wise man, that may understand this? and who is he to whom the mouth of the LORD hath spoken, that he may declare it, for what the land perisheth and is burned up like a wilderness, that none passeth through? 13  And the LORD saith, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein;  14  But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them:

(Jer 9:17 KJV)   Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Consider ye, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for cunning women, that they may come: 18  And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.
(Jer 9:23 KJV) Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: 24  But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.

(Jer 9:25 KJV) Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will punish all them which are circumcised with the uncircumcised;

You can see that  this passage of the Bible partially parallels Joel chapter 1, the Bible reestablishes, confirms it's serious truths as well.. here too a personal call to repentance by all of God's people for their own sins is being asked also by God except now their  more specific sins are also mentioned  for God does not desire the spiritual and physical death of the unrepentant persons.

(1 John 1:9 KJV)  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

The Book of Joel  is a miniature version of the New Testament portion of the Bible.
(Joel 1:1 KJV)  The word of the LORD that came to Joel the son of Pethuel.

(John 1:1 KJV)  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2  The same was in the beginning with God. 3  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4  In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 6  There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7  The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.  8  He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9  That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10  He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11  He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13  Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

(Mat 3:1 KJV)  In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, 2  And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. 3  For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 4  And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. 5  Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, 6  And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins.
In Joel 1:1-2:27 we read about a terrible locust plague that came over Israel as a direct judgment from God and if  God's people do repent  God had promised he would restore their losses, which reminds us of the negative consequences that fell upon all persons next when Adam and eve sinned and they were forever cast out of the garden of Eden too and yet when we repent God restores our relationship with Him by his Son and his Holy Spirit.

While Joel Chapter 1 and 2  also reminds us of the New Testament Ministry of John the Baptist and his call of all persons to repentance in preparing for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, we also do have in Joel chapter 2 also a  clear parallel with the New Testament Book of Acts, even the promise of the God's gracious personal outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon each of the repentant persons who repent and accept Jesus' salvation, His  lordship.. AND NEXT HERE in the Book of Joel we also do have even  AN INTRODUCTION TO THE EVENTS OF THE BOOK OF REVELATIONS, the future prophetically predicted opening of seven seals of the pouring out of God's wrath on the unrepentant individuals on the earth and the establishment of the earthly Millennium period next as well. Joel like many of the prophets and the apostles writes this prophetic Book also to both warn and encourage all persons, especially  firstly God's people to be prepared again for each of the periodic, coming earthly judgment Days of the Lord as we have mentioned in my review of Joel chapter 1.

God is no false respecter of persons and he does not show partiality.. the Bible also says there is both an eternal judgment in Heaven eventually for all persons individually , and periodic real negative personal, INDIVIDUAL earthly judgments as well upon all persons..  the latter fact  is what most evangelical pastors wrongfully also do deny will happen even today.. so they wrongfully mostly do not repent of their own unacceptable sins too.. This book applies to both periodic negative earthly judgments and the final eternal judgments as well now.. Thus the great future " Day of the Lord"  judgments is also part of this book.

(Rev 5:1 KJV)  And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. 6:1    And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2   And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

(Rev 14:18 KJV)  And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.19   And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great wine press of the wrath of God. 20   And the wine press was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the wine press, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

(Acts 2:38 KJV)  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. 40  And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

(Acts 3:19 KJV)  Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;  20  And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: 21  Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. 22  For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. 23  And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

(Acts 17:30 KJV)  And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: 31  Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

(Acts 26:20 KJV)  But showed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

Please note that here STILL EVEN IN JOEL CHAPTER 2 AND MANY PLACES IN THE BIBLE, Old and New Testament too,   a real earthly negative warning of negative personal consequences even here on earth  for all those who are presented with the Gospel and do still refuse to fully repent and receive Jesus Christ fully as Lord.

(Mat 3:7 KJV)  But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8  Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: 9  And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. 10  And now also the ax is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 11  I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: 12  Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

(Mat 23:37 KJV)  O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! 38   Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. 39   For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

(Mat 24:15 KJV)  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)16  Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: 17  Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: 18  Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. 19  And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 20  But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: 21  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

(Prov 28:14 KJV)  Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief.

(Prov 29:1 KJV)  He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

(Acts 1:20 KJV)  For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishopric let another take.

(Joel 2:1 KJV)  Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; 2  A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.

3  A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. 4  The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. 5  Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. 6  Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness. 7  They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: 8  Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. 9  They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. 10  The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: 11  And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

12  Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: 13  And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil. 14  Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God? 15  Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:  16  Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. 17  Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?

18  Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people. 19  Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen: 20  But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.

21  Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.22  Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. 23  Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. 24  And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.

25  And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

26  And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. 27  And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

28  And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:  29  And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

30  And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.

32  And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Note also this while God often uses unbelievers to cause his judgment of the back slidden Christians to try to cause them to reform, repent, change for the good, God next also punishes the same unbelievers for their abuse of the same Christians too..
(1 John 1:10 KJV)  If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

(1 John 2:6 KJV)  He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

(Psa 19:14 KJV)  Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

(Hosea 12:10 KJV)  I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets. (Revelation 1:19): (1) "Write the things which thou hast seen" (chapter 1): (2) "the things which are" (chapters 2 and 3); (3) "and the things which shall be hereafter" (chapters 4-22). I Corinthians 13:9, "we know in part and we prophecy in part." (Rev 19:10 KJV)  worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.  "Surely I come quickly" (Revelation 22:20). (Hosea 13:4 KJV)  Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no Saviour beside me.
(Dan 9:10 KJV)  Neither have we obeyed the voice of the LORD our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets. (Zec 7:7 KJV)  Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain? (Zec 7:12 KJV)  Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts.

(Joel 1:6 KJV)  For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion. 7  He hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.

(Neh 9:30 KJV)  Yet many years didst thou forbear them, and testifiedst against them by thy spirit in thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into the hand of the people of the lands. 31  Nevertheless for thy great mercies' sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God.

(Luke 21:20 KJV)  And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21  Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter there into. 22  For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23  But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. 24  And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. 25  And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26  Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27  And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28  And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Note also this while God often uses natural CALAMITIES and unbelievers to cause his judgment of even the back slidden Christians to try to cause them to reform, repent, change for the good, God next also punishes the same unbelievers he used to chastise God's people for their abuse of the same too..

THE PROPHET JOEL IN CHAPTER 3 SPEAKS NEXT OF A PARTICULAR DAY OF JUDGMENT. THE JUDGMENT OF ALL INDIVIDUALS AND OF ALL OF THE NATIONS ON EARTH.

Many, many, rather most of the people live wrongfully without the fear of God as though there will be even no judgment here on earth for them as well.

(Isa 2:12 KJV)  For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

(Joel 3:1 KJV)  For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,  2  I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. 3  And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink. 4  Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompense? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompense upon your own head; 5  Because ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things: 6  The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border. 7  Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompense upon your own head: 8  And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the LORD hath spoken it. 9  Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:

(Joel 3:10 KJV) Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.

(Rev 11:18 KJV)  and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

(Joel 3:11 KJV) Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD. 12  Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about. 13  Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great.

(Rev 14:14 KJV)  And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

(Rev 14:15 KJV)  And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

(Rev 14:16 KJV)  And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

(Rev 14:17 KJV)  And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

(Rev 14:18 KJV)  And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.

(Rev 14:19 KJV)  And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great wine press of the wrath of God.

(Joel 3:14 KJV)  Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.

(Isa 13:6 KJV)  Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

(Isa 13:9 KJV)  Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

(Jer 46:10 KJV)  For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.

(Ezek 13:5 KJV)  Ye have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.

(Ezek 30:3 KJV)  For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.

(Joel 1:15 KJV)  Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

(Joel 2:1 KJV)  Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

(Joel 2:11 KJV)  And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

(Joel 3:14 KJV)  Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.

(Amos 5:18 KJV)  Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.

(Amos 5:20 KJV)  Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

(Oba 1:15 KJV)  For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.

(Zep 1:7 KJV)  Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.

(Zep 1:14 KJV)  The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.

(Zec 14:1 KJV)  Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

(1 Cor 5:5 KJV)  To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

(2 Cor 1:14 KJV)  As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.

(1 Th 5:2 KJV)  For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

(2 Pet 3:10 KJV)  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

(Rev 12:1 KJV)  And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

(Joel 3:15 KJV)  The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.

(2 Th 2:7 KJV)  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

In Joel 3:15 we do have here also  the revelation of the rapture of the faithful church from the judgment of the day of the Lord.

(1 Th 4:15 KJV)  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18  Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 5:1  But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2  For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3  For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4  But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5  Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6  Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7  For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8  But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 9  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10  Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. 11  Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

(Prov 14:14 KJV)  The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.

(Jer 2:19 KJV)  Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.

(Jer 5:6 KJV)  Wherefore a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased.

but all back slidders do have something to worry about, back slidder is not a popular word in today's preaching as well.

(Jer 3:6 KJV)  The LORD said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot.

(Jer 3:8 KJV)  And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

(Jer 3:22 KJV)  Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God.

(Jer 14:7 KJV)  O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, do thou it for thy name's sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee.

(Jer 3:12 KJV)  Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.

(Jer 3:14 KJV)  Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

(Jer 3:22 KJV)  Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God.

(Jer 8:5 KJV)  Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.

(Jer 31:22 KJV)  How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.

(Jer 49:4 KJV)  Wherefore gloriest thou in the valleys, thy flowing valley, O backsliding daughter? that trusted in her treasures, saying, Who shall come unto me?

(Hosea 4:16 KJV)  For Israel slideth back as a backsliding heifer: now the LORD will feed them as a lamb in a large place.

(Hosea 11:7 KJV)  And my people are bent to backsliding from me: though they called them to the most High, none at all would exalt him.

(Hosea 13:9 KJV)  O Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine help. 10   I will be thy king: where is any other that may save thee in all thy cities?

(Hosea 14:1 KJV)  O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.

JESUS IS COMING BACK FOR HIS PEOPLE, THE BRIDE, THE BODY OF CHRIST, THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH AND THE SAVED REMNANT PERSONS OF THE NATION OF ISRAEL.

"For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus
Christ" (1 Thessalonians 5:9). "Because thou hast kept the word of My patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try
them that dwell upon the earth" (Revelation 3: 10)
(Joel 3:16 KJV)The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel. 17  So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.

(Joel 3:18 KJV) And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.

(Joel 3:19 KJV) Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
(Joel 3:20 KJV)  But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.

if we look at the last verse without the context of the New Testament we will not get the full honest Biblical picture.. SADLY TOO MANY PERSONS STILL DO..

(Gal 4:26 KJV)  But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

(Rev 3:12 KJV)  Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

(Rev 21:2 KJV)  And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

(Rev 21:10 KJV)  And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

(Joel 2:32 KJV)  And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

(Micah 4:1 KJV)  But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

(Jer 5:31 KJV)  The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

(Hosea 12:7 KJV)  He is a merchant, the balances of deceit are in his hand: he loveth to oppress.

I want you also  to remember always  that some persons do have a false, visible or hidden  agenda, for hopeful personal economic gains, power, and THE FALSE oppression of others and that is why they do misinterpret the Bible to their now suiting including the books of Revelation and Joel, pastors sadly included.

2 Pet 1:19 – 21, 2:1 – 3, “We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto you do well that you take heed, as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privately shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying Jesus that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.”

(Jer 14:15 KJV)  Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

(Mat 26:42 KJV)  He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

(Isa 53:8 KJV)  He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

(Isa 59:20 KJV)  And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.

(Luke 11:2 KJV)  And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

(Micah 3:8 KJV)  But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.

(Isa 58:1 KJV)  Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

(Psa 19:13 KJV)  Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

(Job 7:21 KJV)  And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? for now shall I sleep in the dust; and thou shalt seek me in the morning, but I shall not be.

(Job 13:23 KJV)  How many are mine iniquities and sins? make me to know my transgression and my sin.

Personal Sin comes in all sizes, shapes, and even  deliberate and unintentional sins as well and the problem with personal sin is that if it is left untreated it generally escalates, increases next. One sin often found even amongst religious persons is the sin of presumption that tend to escalate into greater transgressions next against God too.. I tend to characterize the sin of presumption  as a selfish, self centered behavior, a sin in which one does a lot of talking to God, even a lot of false personal planning, false dreaming, false praying even, but in actual fact very little or almost no personal listening to God.. the question of "Lord what would you have me to do?", not my will but thine will be done,  does not seem to come into our religious mind.. or

(Psa 19:14 KJV)  Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

(Psa 32:1 KJV)   Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

(Micah 7:18 KJV)  Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

(Psa 17:5 KJV)  Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.

even help us all to

LUKE 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Sadly even still today many Religious, non religious, secular and non secular persons do have a distorted view of man's own self importance, they wrongfully put man and not God, Jesus Christ at the center of the universe, world. Theyalso  hold the erroneous view that many has a free will choice and he or she can do what heor she  pleasesamd to to this they generally distort the truth by saying also  there is no direct involvement by God on earth, and thus no personal accountability for any personal sin as well. These people are really frightened by the concept, realization that God still holds personal accountable for all they do, that God chastises, punishes all persons for their own immoral acts in particular because so many off them know there are many past, present personal wrong acts that they have done they have yet to even repent of..

(Jer 13:10 KJV)  This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing.
